I've found that when I fail at doing a job I'm paid to do, I can be replaced by someone who doesn't need his .... patted to do what he was hired for.

To me it's pretty simple.
Your hired to do a task. When you took the job you agreed to do that task for pay. Pretty simple.

Worked retail nearly all my life. I've been ...... on, cussed, and threatened. Still did my job.

Participation awards should never be paychecks.

Oh, I agree will all you say. However, if you have everyone being mad and just plain nasty to you, you end up hating your job and don't do it as well or even attempt to go that little extra. Been on both sides of the fence and you are def better off being part of a solution instead of part of the problem. just my 2 pennies.

Our mail lady is great. She is not the problem. My problem is from wherever my China mail enters the USPS system. Never used to have this problem. Frustrating but at least the packages do get delivered.

The last package I had come from China stopped in the Netherlands for THREE weeks it didn't move! It did finally arrive via USPS a month and a half traveling time. OK, OK, back to the positive changes we can only by US co.

I would love to buy from US companies, just can't afford to. My Therion was 40.00 more + shipping from US. I get my flavors, nic, and some supplies from US. Gear almost always comes from China and I make no apologies for that. US companies shoot themselves in the foot.

I've got a couple of dogs who are that way. But I guess it's normal for a dog. Husband, not so much. Maybe you could get a dog and play them off against each other. Make them fight for your attention.

No worries, not personal. But I would try support and assist before I'd fire them.

I had a problem for a couple of months where several packages got in a status of "undeliverable, returned to sender". I did eventually get through to a very friendly and helpful soul on the phone. She explained at least part of the problem. Probably gave me more info than she should have. The parcels in question had been put on the wrong delivery truck. But the drivers have a very limited choice of options to enter in their machine. There isn't one for wrong truck. So the postman picks one that sounds close, like "undeliverable". After a couple of days they all got back to sorting and went out on the right truck.

I guess whatever hiccup was causing items to be put on the wrong truck got fixed and it hasn't happened since.

I think a lot of it depends on the individual driver. Mine are great but we had a useless one a few years ago. It's like any bureaucracy. Like most cops are good, but they will defend their own to the death, even the bad apples.

Not denying him his rant. I hope he feels free to rant about anything he wants. Only problem I see is that energy begets energy, whether it is positive or negative. And all that wasted energy just seems to me to be unproductive. But yeah,, whatever floats your boat....

I do see your point. But damn the man has gotten consistently bad service. Bad management or really poor training is a hard thing to overlook time after time for months on end. Even my patience would be tried beyond it's limits.

Still have a fight with PO. I'm over this. Years of dealing with them.

BTW, and just an FYI , our box is about 500 yds away down the road from our house. Long story but been there for years, never see our carrier.

Will reserve Dead Rabbit SQ thoughts until maybe tomorrow. Have a crap single wrap SS316L @ .34 in it. It's about all I have. Will try a Ni80 parallel tomorrow.

Back when I was in the workforce, if I made an error it reflected poorly on me. If I made consistent errors, which never happened because I stuck to jobs I could satisfy, I'm sure I wouldn't have a job anymore.

As a customer you don't need to be overly rude but you have a right to voice yourself when something isn't right.

So Does anyone have a GOOD experience with our USPS to help balance this out and lift our thoughts of them, anyone......or maybe we should all use UPS or FedX

I have absolutely no complaints with USPS, Fed-ex or UPS here. All of them know us and have been known to actually go out of their way to make sure we get our packages. I read these horror stories and I feel very fortunate to have it so good.

I have almost all of my packages delivered to my job. Our carrier is always bringing something in that needs to be signed for and there never seems to be an issue with things getting returned to the hub. I honestly think that the PO is so concerned with taking care of Amazon that other customers are being pushed to the back burner. It's routine now in my small town to see carriers out on Sundays making deliveries and it always seems like every box they are carrying has the Amazon logo
