Here’s an FYI for all the FT and sourcemore shoppers, I have had 2 separate packages bar coded incorrectly from the shipper in China and even with the correct address label. The post office ignores the what the address printed on the package is and only scans the bar code and attempt to deliver it to an incorrect address twice before returning the package to the sender. I use informed delivery on USPS and have had this occur twice and have 2 more packages coming.

Made to order would cut into profit and would reduce the value overall.

I just know how many times I have searched for something and seen that it was not in stock, I would lose interest and not pursue it anymore. That’s just me. Opinions may vary and items printed are closer than they may appear

Did the survey thanks for all the links, finally got one done....

I view it as helpful (I hope) also penance for spilling my coffee in my vape area. They mods are all fine, I can be pretty speedy on "No" coffee if needed. LOL, this was the second time. I really need to get a coffee cup with a lid. Once can be ignored, twice is part of a pattern.

I don't like coffee with lids, but I also don't like killing off mods, etc. :)

That is true , but if i was in the business, it would be more attractive to the customer to insert a phrase like (made to order) rather than out of stock
Or take them down. They aren't making any more. Maybe put sold out instead of out of stock. I think they probably leave them up so people can see what they missed out on and more eager to buy before they are all gone.

I found this a few days ago it is a bit old but you can still find the chips if you google them. I kinda want to do it well a form of it maybe make my own squonk box maybe need to find a 3d printer, then again all this will probably just say in my wishlist ideas.

If you are searching for something common it is frustrating. People who seek out high end small run mods do so because they are unique and hard to get. The hunt is part of the appeal.

No way I'd buy a 3d printed mod. Wood or SS only, maybe throw in a touch of leather as well. Make it curvy so it fits nicely in hand.

You can 3d print gold and silver (as well as various other metals) - just gotta put in the money :D

What about micarta? Haven't seen many custom mods made that way (in fact I've seen 1 that's it) but it can look really awesome and even save some work if done right. Could be easier than carving into some hard wood.

I will do a 3d printed mod as an edc. They are very tough, light and practical. For a custom though it would have to be wood or metal. For me brass or copper. Leather would be nice too. It is about craftsmanship.

Nope, same for acrylic. Pretty but if I go custom I want what I will not get tired of holding or looking at.

Well I just sent the video and a message to a metal worker I know I want to see what kind of ideas he has
