IMHO ss has a better taste.
Once I switched to ss and then went back to a kanthal build it was like I could taste the wire.

the first prebuilt coils I ever used were Kanthal and I had the same experience. Seemed like every juice had a metallic aftertaste. when I started making my own wire and building I got a deal on boatload of Ni80 so that's what I've been using. I see a bulk purchase of SS in my near future

No complaints with mine. Overall it has good performance and unlike some companies (this means YOU smok) they have a software update utility that is actually somewhat easy to use if you decide to do so

What Color did you get, just curious?

Try out that vape tool app I mentioned earlier. It may be available for iPhone if that's what you have. I use the free version but they have a pro.
In the coil section you select they type like fused clapton, then the individual wire guages and type like ss.
After that coil diameter and wraps and it has been accurate for me.
I use it when I am getting ready to make more Clapton etc so I can figure out the best gauges to use for my target resistance.

Agree on the SS vs Kanthal, have never used Nichrome

it saved me on a road trip.my vape quit working and looked to find not one drop in the tank.i can see others point that a good vape is a good vape.

I've had it for close to six months and have no complaints. The first software update they offered caused the mod to turn off after 10 minutes or so of inactivity but they fixed the issue pretty quickly. It's been solid

I have a question on the Capo squonk.
Since the max volts on it is 4.2, isn't that the same as an unregulated mod?
An 18650 battery is 4.2 volts, correct?

So why is the Capo considered not as good as an unregulated?

I probably just don't understand volt/watts, forgive me if it's a dumb question.
