looks like i'm different,really like coil master for micro coils. just have to learn tension and can close eyes when wrapping.i also just use round and happy as pig in mud.

I agree. For single wire coils the jig is hard to beat. Ideal for contact or spaced and they always look good

I haven't talked myself into fooling with tension. Not a fan of smaller diameter coils or single wire builds.

I ran across a couple of threads where someone wrote a book about the wonders of tensioned coils. Was never convinced that a precise amount of tension could make that much difference on single wire builds.

I believe every word MTV says is truth, just not sure it is something I want to get into. Will say the thought of a coil lasting a year is appealing.

I needed to research that. I was refereeing to the amount to use while wrapping, mainly to much and the wire goes on top of each other.
