You're right, it is smexy(?) in blue. What build did you settle on?
That's a picture from last night. I have the Pulse 22 on it now with a parallel build, 5/4 wrap of 26ga SS316L on 3mm (0.17Ω) . It's working alright, a little cool side as the resistance rises and I am really not a fan of the Pulse 22. Going to try a 4/3 wrap of 26ga KA1 3 strand parallel on 3mm and see how that works out later on.

It's quite disenchanting to see single battery mechs out there running dual claptons builds. They hit the fire button and there is a sweet blast of angry vapor. I do realize that those are fully mechanical mods and the build is probably 0.08Ω pushing hard at the margin of safety...

So let's say I were to buy a jig.

Who's willing to point me to wire spools?
I prefer fused Clapton's but admit I know little.

Don't have time to twist and get drills out. Just a good quality cheapish spool of acceptable wire.

Pro Tips?
Get a Daedalus.
Save money.
???
Profit.

I have one but have started using a spool tamer for all my fused wires. It just seems to turn out much tighter wraps than I ever got using the Daedalus. Ever used one?

and they are fabulous when it comes to building fused clapton wire.

the video starts where he shows how he uses the spool tamer

Thanks a great big bunch, Randy. :censored: Where were you with this trick when I was debating buying the Daedalus? No, nope, not going to have regrets. I own it and will use it. The spool tamers, now that is a tip I can use, so I will thank you for that. ;)

Looks interesting, don't get me wrong.
But I love the set it and forget it that is the Daedalus.
Lol.
