To people who sell their stuff in the Classified or Craigslist or wherever...
Do you put any effort into cleaning your tanks? If so, how much?

I try to clean them as if I were cleaning it to put it away (take it out of service)

Yeah, not everyone is cleanly.

me too. I assumed everyone else would as well. It's inconceivable to me that someone would put a dirty tank back in the original box

I made a trade once and the person didn't clean their tanks they gave me and it ...... me off..

I find it just plain rude, but some people apparently do it.

I made the mistake of not boiling bottles when I sold my Inbox. Buyer was polite, but explained they should have been better. I wasn't offended, felt embarrassed and thanked him.

It's a courtesy.

I've made two different purchases through the classifieds and both times every item arrived spotless and as described. I can't imagine selling someone a less than clean tank or any other piece of vape gear.

Just pay attention.. you can occasionally find good deals here. I've bought two mods here for half what new price was, and they were both in excellent condition. .

I've bought others at market value for the piece and was very happy.

Some people ask too much, you just have to pay attention.

I agree. I paid $60 for three mods (including my beloved Alien) and two RDAs that I didn't really care for. Just have to keep an eye out for deals

I can only see buying used high end or discontinued gear used. Th prices have dropped so much the last year or two doesn't seem worth the aggravation.

Like the tesla steampunk I have... bought it for half price what it would have been new, so it gave me a chance to try it out it to see if I'd even like it for much less than it would have cost to buy it new...

Sometimes if your not sure about a piece but really like something about it buying used is worth it, even if they are still selling new..because what if you don't like it?

Your out less that way. ..

That's my thinking, but I'm an overall cheapskate. . Lol

One of my Therion 166 mod I bought used, the seller had an excellent seller rating and I was not disappointed. Tanks are just cheap now though unless they are high end. Mods I understand, tanks not so much.
