have you noticed how much better you can taste things yet? if not, you will probably start noticing soon. That was the first "Holy S*&t" moment for me after I stopped smoking. I took a bite of some steamed brocolli and it tasted so different. I found myself cutting way back on salt use because I discovered that food tasted so much better. Congrats on sticking with it
I just got rid of the ashtrays yesterday and haven't had my car cleaned yet, so I am used to the smell still
The difference is amazing.
It still amazes me how bad I smelled and didn't realize it.
It's like every store I go in now I can tell the smokers when I get within a few feet of them ..........

Ooh... cleaning the car, that was a big one. That's when I truly knew I was going to stay stopped (I usually clean my car on the pain of DEATH) so it was a giant ashtray, of sorts. Sadly, I found a couple cigarettes in there, but fortunately, they looked to be possibly a year old, and definitely weren't looking their best so I wasn't tempted to smoke one.
Cleaning the car equals a big quitting milestone, if you ask me. All I have to do nowadays is get some of that pesky VG off the windshield, so much easier...

Yeah, that VG on the windscreen is a pain. Question. Does that only happen with VG? If that's the case I might just make myself up some PG juice and keep it for driving use.
I cleaned the windscreen on Thursday. Now it's Sunday and it's already starting to get cloudy.
We caught the last parade of Mardi Gras in Mobile Tuesday night. After two weeks of intermittent rain and almost non-stop partying the streets smelled like the bottom of a Waffle House dumpster.
Now, I've never actually been in a Waffle House dumpster, but I have [ahem] seen one set on fire and that smell was bad enough.

After getting it really clean, take a bar of "hard soap" (not sure if that's the correct english word, I mean this kind https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/-OcAAOSwrx5UWncw/s-l300.jpg)
and rub it over the whole glass area, then "polish" it with some paper towel or tissue.
You now have a condensation proof glass surface. At least for a while.
Works inside my helmet, on the bathroom mirror and on my workroom window.
