If he was that good at programming a computer you'd probably encourage it right? While the stakes are higher fighting, so are the rewards. Also, I've been in a lot of fights and never got paid, so why not? Better in a ring with a ref than a bar or a back alley, sounds like he's gonna do it one way or another.

I'm sure he'll be successful but I don't have to be happy about it. Computer programmers don't have to worry about repeated head trauma. He's working towards being a physical therapist and said that fighting will do wonders for his career. He'll get paid to break them and then get paid to fix them.
