I think it's awesome.. you know I really would love three acres of flat ground for gardening etc.
The mountains are great for scenery, critters, photography and gathering wild foods... but they arent the best place always for having a garden.
We can't even use a lawn mower our yard is so steep, we literally have to use a weed eater for everything..
The hillside is up next to the back of the house here, and if your behind the house on the hill, you can literally step across from the hill onto the roof... it's nothing to be sitting in the living room hoping the bear that's walking around on the roof doesn't fall through the ceiling... lol... which honestly periodically sounds quite possible.
Yeah, there are benefits to having a nice piece of flat ground. .
