I swear, Mango goes with everything. I was surprised to like that flavor as much.

Stuck to my schedule yesterday morning but did not do yoga. LOL. That means, Parental controls. LOL, to be very clear, I am asking the husband to do this, I think it will help me. Although, most of today is going to be spent "dealing with" (read "paying for") the kid's recently inflicted on himself gum recession.... I am not looking forward to it (he was taking a med that caused dry mouth, and it happened all of a sudden like. BUT he wants to go to the dogpark then eat afterwards, or he thinks he does (LOL, the lure of college girls with dogs, I have a feeling this might be our weekly "outing" for a while) but I remain uncertain. .Either way, I guess I will be packing up enough vapes and other supplies to last me to 9 p.m.

Kids. I never planned a dental appointment and went "I'm going to go pick up hot guys!" afterwards, but kids, they are resilient. I have a hunch he MIGHT wish to just stay home and recuperate, but will be preparing for any eventuality.

I am liking my Revenger quite a bit, now that I've figured out where to put the power source, thanks for all the help yesterday, you lot (you are a helpful, but funny lot). This thread is so full of win!

Closys alcohol free mouthwash, and oral care products.

Dentists prescribe it for receding gums amoing other oral health problems, but you can buy it over the counter.

I've been using 50/50 nic salts in my MTL setups with really high nic content and am curious how non salt juices compare. With RDAs and non-MTL RTAs I use 3mg juices. Are the 12mg too harsh with MTL?
I can tell you that within a week of Meg vaping the juices with 15mg salts that I mixed for her she found her 12mg commercial juices with freebase very harsh. BTW she has again given up smoking. Has been harder for her than me, so proud of her.

Good morning shiners! I'll pretend to get caught up later. @lupinehorror there's a really good tobacco flavor only thread in the e liquid section. It's all worth checking out of you want a hand at tobacco juices. They are a bit harder to get right than say simple fruit type juices.
I am going to check that out myself.

Not really... it's not very different from using airflow disks and it's almost identical to the aeronaut airflow system
Aeronaut V2.5 (24mm) RDA
Not saying it's bad, it's just not new.
it's very similar but the Aeronaut isn't really set up for MTL. I'm sure that you could get a MTL experience from it but the Berserker's AF and reduced chamber size are more ideal for MTL setups, IMO.

What is the nic salt equivalent to 6mg/ml freebase? Nic salts are an entirely foreign concept to me but they sound like the better way to go.

Good morning shiny folks. I am really intrigued by all the DIY scientists in here. Not sure yet that I want to try my hand at it, but it is quite informative. Gotta love @Sickbxy, it seems his mantra is "Go big or go home". I’m a junior member of that club. Nice watching all of you masters at work :thumb:

For diy I use the same mg salts as I would freebase. Right now I use 8mg for rta and 2.5-1.5 for rda. I use salts exclusively.

Randy when you start mixing you won't notice much if any difference between salts and freebase at 3mg. For your higher mg juices you will want the salts.
That's what I'm finding with the stuff I buy now. I have only used salts with my MTL setups and they are all in 30-50mg range. Unfortunately there are a couple of juices that I love in my RDAs that I can't get as salts. I might see if I can get them in 12mg and try MTLing with them.

You will find the freebase th hit more potent at 12mg.

But it's usually not prohibitively so until you exceed 18mg... it's in the 24-36mg range that most people have the most problems with freebase nic.

People with preexisting throat problems are an exception to the above..

Puffing on my pulse Squonk this morning with a new single coil build. Not as flavorful as the dual coil but oh well. One surprise when I opened the door to change the battery, it had dark spots on the wrapper not seen before, also a spot wher the wrap was gone. Immediately through it out and now keeping a watchful eye on the new one. Single battery unregulated Squonk may not be for me.
A regulated mod is on the way though. Woohoo

Nic salts are a 1:1 equivalency. I will say it again, there's nothing "secretly special" about them other than less throat hit, leading to the ABILITY to go to higher nic strengths for those who need them, but using them generally, even in sub0hm devices, it's a 1:1 strength equivalence. I DIY at 18 mg/ml and notice nothing different other than less harshness (maybe a bit less taste).

There are "reports" that they "may" be more quickly bioavailable but I have noticed no really difference that I can put my finger on. I've never gotten nicotine overload from them, I vape at 18 because that is what I did with freebase, I use them because I like a "soft" vape my entire respiratory system was shot when I got here and started vaping. I use them merely for preference.

If you want to mix yourself up some 50 mg/ml juice, nic salts would be a good choice. I would WATCH hard for symptoms of nicotine overload in that case but I would say the exact same thing about freebase nicotine (if anyone could tolerate vaping at that strength).

In my opinion all these "nic salt dedicated" tanks and pods... It's just a marketing gimmick, thanks to Juul which is currently undergoing some popularity for it to almost give you a hit like tobacco, so much so that I wonder what else is in there. And, it's also a weak delivery system.

It's really a matter of tailoring nic salts to what you want to use them for. I also find I get less nic "taste" kinda sorta etc. But they aren't magic (other than the ability to go super high if needed) or if one prefers little to no throat hit. Etc.

That explains my sensitivity, I have issues at 6%, but I have also been hospitalized for a reactive airway after I drove through smoke from a large trash fire that was blowing across the freeway... I just always thought capers that went over 3% were nuts LOL

But, I have no issues with 50mg salts.

At 8mg I can tell a difference and at 12mg Meg does as well. I find freebase intolerable above 5%, Neither of us have any throat issues. It's what you get used too I believe.
