why? because of how tight the battery compartment is? I've never used an internal charger because I thought it was hard on the mod, but as you know well there's a lot that I don't know.

dna chip has excellent internal charging. The only reason I recommend the magnet thingy is to to reduce stress on the charge port. Your choice of course, just throwing it out there as a convenient option.
