For a warm-coolish vape on the Kraken shoot for a .8-1.6Ω. I will build for about a .5Ω lower watt. Will be a bit warmer than my usual due to restricted af. Hoping my lighter florals will shine in this type of atty. We'll see.

Did you use those weird looking mesh sticks? The video I watched showed them torching the mesh first and was merely assuming these were rolled up mesh and would need to follow that procedure

@Letitia , am I off the hook ? Ordered a litre of nic and amber bottles. Can I shop for other shinies now? Can I, can I ??? :)
Yep. Where did you order from? Believe I was the one to suggest you order the shiny first since you have nothing to mix with it. Could be wrong, it was a Wednesday after all. I haven't dared to go back and read those posts.

Just familiarized myself with above ohm vaping.... quite interesting in theory but will stick with what I know. Just wondering if the new "kraken" was made for sub or above ohm vaping.. haven’t built on it yet, but sure looks nice although very fiddle it seems.

That wasn't a theory back in the day. That's all you had.

The term "regulated" came about because the 14mm pen-style devices regulated current so that you always got a regulated 3.7v out of whatever battery was inside. The only way to get more than 15 Watts of power out of 3.7v was to use a mechanical device and build a coil below 1.0 Ohm, and that pushed the 5A limit of most li-ion batteries we had at the time.

Only crazy people did that, according to the wisdom of the day. And, no one really needed variable voltage mods to get more power. All you had to do was build "right." And all those crazy kids with the variable wattage fad... dangerous crazy stuff that would make all normal vapers look bad.

I remember reading posts on ECF from people who swore off ever buying another Provari because Provape "sold out" to the VW fad.

I'm doing this build first.
Might want to fast forward to build.
If you want to use mesh the old RipTrippers video is the one I found most useful. He's not using a Kraken, but same rules apply. Short and sweet (the old RT who I liked and taught me how to build). Todd uses the rods and mesh in his video on the Kraken.

Ahh, I forgot how much I missed "Best of craigslist." I also (well it seems to me) that the "Letgo" app can advertise all it wants, it's not going to beat craigslist. I love that magic site. I was selling my (pretty non functional) new bug which was in pretty bad shape, we would up with like, 500 phone calls and pretty much an auction site in the driveway with people calling their mechanics and whatnot.

Of course, we were selling it for $800, pretty much what we would have gotten in an junkyard, but I was shocked at how many people LOVE that car (I hated it, it showed, LOL).

Had some great times on/with Craigslist and can't beat it for sheer hilarity quite often... :)

You really should go back and read, you’re quite the spitfire after a drop or two ;) of tequila.

The place you recommended and the one Dieseler did. Oops, that’s actually 2 litres then. Amber bottles from a scientific supply house, as I still have an account. Already have pg and vg ( ordered a small amount last month). I’ll try both nics and see what they’re like unflavored. Mt baker’s unflavored nic juice has a slight taste to it. If that works, I’ll stick with no flavoring . I think we’ll still have access to flavors in the future, as they’re used in too many non vaping products. Have a list of vendors that are good for vaping use.

No florals/teas? I doubt I'll give up my flavors. Have never had the urge to try unflavored even for testing bases.

I’m just trying to cover the bases. If it came to the worst I want to know if unflavored would be satisfying

i tried about 40ml of unflavoured though it obviously has a flavour. wasn't for me though i found it reasonably satisfying and dense enough for my style... open DTL usually.

Lol.. you thought that was funny?

I spent the time reading it thanking God that the men I've had sex with had been taught basic hygiene as children...

Which, might be funny in and of itself but I just cant help but feel the gentleman who wrote that needs some hygiene help.. especially where concerns personal cleanliness after BM's (not to be confused with B&M's)...

So sad.

The thing i found with unflavored was you need to try it for at least a couple of days exclusively with unflavored. Then when you go back and try flavored it tastes over powering and chemically. I hate flavored now and if i try it i soon crave unflavored again. A few days on unflavored and i bet you would not go back to flavoring again.

I'm relatively certain there was much exaggeration for humorous benefit. Very few of us are quite so literal as yourself my friend.:)

Subjectivity. I'm glad you found what works for you but I do not believe the experiment's result would be the same for all. I for one would be bored and frustrated before the first tank needed a refill. I also doubt it would be as effective for new vapers if they started on unflavored.

They better not take flavors away my coffee and fondant would be in sad shape..

And seriously, every bakery in the world would revolt if they made flavoring illegal.
