Yeah, but you can dry burn a ceramic wick (so I hear, I don't believe I will be trying it any time soon).
True enough, coil and wick gunkers will do so regardless of wicking material.....
Rayon's still better (if you want to ask for my logic, well I have none. LOL) but it still is better.
If it's your juice though you can rinse and reuse rayon, actually. I was very skeptical of this (and I think it's probably more applicable to flavor changing than prolonging the life of your wick.
I will attest that I was curious and immediately tried it (rinse with DW) and the wick wasn't actually terrible and lasted for a surprisingly long amount of time, too.
So
@Sickbxy, if it's your juice, and it's just a gunker, maybe rinsing the wick periodically might help? It's not going to solve your juice and wattage problem (honestly) but I found rinsing to be slightly faster. Slightly. It really (the rinsed wick) got surprisingly clean, fast. Etc.
