any of you Shiny folks tried the Berserker MTL rda yet? Been hearing good things in other threads but thought I'd check with my Shiny brethren before I pull the trigger
There was several long threads on it vs the Siren 2 on the FB MTL group. Based on those, I went with the Siren instead. Both got thumbs up for flavor, but some mentioned leaking, which is a nogo for me.

You must have some outstanding B&M’s there
I am spoiled here. There is a lot of competition and it keeps the prices down. The main one I go to I have been going to since they opened about 5 years ago. They take good care of me. There are online shops based here too where I can order then will call stuff that day after 2pm.

I buy my premium e-juice from Vape Society Supply in Vegas. Great company, fast shipping and amazingly low prices on my favorite juice.

@NolaMel no nightmares, just dreams of fruit dancing with flowers.
@JamesDMad so glad to hear that stent is out and you're in less pain.
@Walter_Sobchak see it didn't take long for you to get your shinyitis back on track after your vacation.
So you dreamed you watched The Wall?

I've been playing with WW and since I'm not sure how to enter the numbers I'm getting a range of conflicting Ω. anything from .12-.39 and heat flux is also varying wildly. May have to just wing it. Wouldn't mind wrapping a parallel but not even going to attempt entering that in WW. Thinking a 4 wrap 3.5mm parallel may get me closer to my target. Unfortunately I don't know why my brain is telling me that. Frustrating.

Ever try Vape Tool from the Google store I have it on my phone have not really used it more than to screw around but maybe it works better for someone who knows what the hell they are doing unlike me who just hopes for the best. (I would so blow my face off with a mech mod)

Man well, Tom Cruise may come out of the closet after all.

Pretty sure he already did.

@stols001 What mod are you having trouble with?

@Necrospecter I just went with a simple clapton in one and my beloved tri core in the other. Turns out that flat clapton wire is a pure pita to work with. Will torch it and wait until a rainy very bored day to tackle again.

It's this mod: (not who I won from) Authentic GTRS P222 222W Black TC VW Variable Wattage Box Mod

Mine has a gold button but that is the mod. I'm kind of in a rush to get out of the house, but it was working fine, then nothing. I will have at it later once I get back home (soonish hopefully) but it just went dead, and nothing I did revived it. It's not the batteries, I put them in another mod to check. I did not lock the mod or anything it just went dead and no button pushes revived it.

I'll try this afternoon and I guess contact the vendor otherwise, whether it's replaced or not, I suppose they should know about it.... I think it has a yihi board in it, possibly? It's just.... I think it's a Korean maker/manufacturer, and it was sort of saab like in the sense that everything's a bit "off" compared to what I've tried. I'm not saying it's a bad mod, just different.

The only thing I am getting this week is wick and Clapton wire. I will add some 28 to the order and give it a try. Do you twist it about as tight as a rope would be?

Edit: iJoy 20700 batteries too. Thx for reminding me. @Sickbxy
Yes, I do. Steam Engine will only let you set the twist pitch to a value greater than the diameter of the individual wires. I just set the pitch to 0.5mm and my final build resistance is always close to my target. Off by maybe .05 Ohms.

I use a 3/8" drill motor and a screwdriver to do the twisting. I pull off as much wire as I can stretch one-armed away from my chest and cut it. Then I put the two ends in the chuck and tighten it down. I stick the loop end over the screwdriver, reach to stretch it a bit, and then start the drill motor slow and keep some tension to prevent kinking.. When I'm sure the wires aren't gonna kink, I crank it up a little and just let the twisting process pull the loop end towards the drill motor. When it looks like the distance between the ridges is about 0.5mm, I stop. I don't worry about measuring it. Eyeballing it is good enough.

When you're ready to release it, the new material will try to kink up in the middle. Let it do that slowly and getting the bend out only takes a second or two.
