Trinity Glass tanks Co. is now Trinity Glass Hardware and they've lowered prices on quite a few of their products. I just picked some spare nips for $5 each.

Let the vendor know and if possible send them a video of the problem. I had a mod from a contest win that only went down using the + button and sent them a video and there sending me a replacement after viewing the video.Man well, Tom Cruise may come out of the closet after all. I think my new mod is broken, that or I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong with it. It had a nice handfeel and I was just getting to know the vape when it went dead. I didn't do anything with it, because it was just before night came and I was just too tired.
Maybe I locked it or did something weird, etc. I will have to play with it more. But, if it's inoperable, I'm not quite sure what to do, it was a win and etc. I've never had one not be operational (and it's newish modmaker from the looks of it). IDK if I can't get it working if I should bring it to the attention of the vendor or not. I mean, it was already sent via DHL, that's not cheap, I kind of feel like I should accept it as the luck of the draw? What would you guys do? It's kind of a neat, sort of.... Well, it's sort of like a Saab.... Does/did some things differently that were kind of interesting, but also a bit unusual and well... IDK.

I'll give it a try next week. Thanks!Yes, I do. Steam Engine will only let you set the twist pitch to a value greater than the diameter of the individual wires. I just set the pitch to 0.5mm and my final build resistance is always close to my target. Off by maybe .05 Ohms.
I use a 3/8" drill motor and a screwdriver to do the twisting. I pull off as much wire as I can stretch one-armed away from my chest and cut it. Then I put the two ends in the chuck and tighten it down. I stick the loop end over the screwdriver, reach to stretch it a bit, and then start the drill motor slow and keep some tension to prevent kinking.. When I'm sure the wires aren't gonna kink, I crank it up a little and just let the twisting process pull the loop end towards the drill motor. When it looks like the distance between the ridges is about 0.5mm, I stop. I don't worry about measuring it. Eyeballing it is good enough.
When you're ready to release it, the new material will try to kink up in the middle. Let it do that slowly and getting the bend out only takes a second or two.
Imagine that.Have to admit the margaritas do perk me up a bit.
Come on Jay, give us a link. We are a lazy bunch here. If I can do it so can you.@bigbob2322 caught lurking.....gotcha!
