Ugh. I get vertigo and I've done the Ferris wheel too many times, I do way too much nice stuff for my kid.

LOL, I think the Ferris Wheel was introduced at the first World Expo (read a book on it, it was really good, but I can't recall the name ATM. However, that one sounded truly terrifying, it had a tendency to stop working a lot and it was also HUGE.

I watched that one being built from beginning to end. Never rode it. Too expensive for a ferris wheel IMO. That thing is 500 feet high though. You would get a hell of a view from up there.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about the High Roller in your neck of the woods. Unless you're really old enough to have attended the world expo. In Chicago. In 1890-something.

The instinct of self preservation keeps me out of submarines, off of snow skis, out of skydiving clubs and away from things named "Ferris."

Man, I skied 7 months pregnant. No lie. Of course, I learned how when I was 3. It was the one fun thing about visiting my "ex" MIL, during her "I'm about to be Ordained as an Episcopalian minister. She baptized me and the kiddo first (guess it didn't take) and I also got really ill during my visit, but as soon as I was discharged, I asked the doc (who actually took very good care of me) how soon I could ski!!!!! He looked at me in great dubiousness, but I'd explained my who MIL thing, so he said, "I'd try to hold off as long as you can, but if you must, wait at least 3 days."

I was not going to visit the Teton mountains and NOT ski. It was the best part of my visit, by a country mile. LOL. I praise my parents for teaching me how to ski at age 3, they just found a shallow hill and shoved me down it, endlessly, until I stopped falling. LOL.

I miss skiing. Tucson (or at least Mt Lemon) has a ski slope, but it's only 30 feet of "slope." Otherwise, I would....

That’s such a sharp looking mod! I wouldn’t use it enough to justify the cost, but I’m not writing that thought off yet
i got it for half rrp which is at least $140 - $160. mine was $84. get one delivered to me from ebay uk (ukecigstore) and i'll post it over.
