This is great for several reasons.

My daughters will have a resource to fight back against oppressive regimes.

They will learn that lawyers and money grease the skids to success.

They will learn that bribing the cops with a cuppa would have prevented this mess to begin with.

Good morning shiny folks. vape mail yesterday a set of exotic coils. IDK when I will play with them, but I believe it will be my last shiny order... For a while. LOL.

Hope everyone has a shiny day. I want a miniken so bad, any color would work. Holding off but you should all get one (seeking shiny by osmosis).

What, you think that’s low? I am a low watts kinda gal, but I may raise that a little, still on the first half tank and it’s a little much just yet. It’s like a mint super nova. Should’ve used a different juice!

Just stumbled across this picture, from the day I got Georgia, 6/6/16. So stinkin’ cute. That’s why I knew I had to have her spayed. My luck she’d have had 14 pups, and I would not have been able to part with any of them lol. And you can see, it was love at first sight for the dogs, too.

We did that with our first dog! She was so cute and fun, we considered breeding her for a while, but after her first couple in heat times (she almost got attacked and well, the neighbor's dog was not spayed and not cute at all) I was like, "Honey, remember what RAISING this dog was like? And you know we'd have to keep one, at the very least . Remember RAISING her and the toll it took?" So we spayed her.

Now that she's dead, well, I sometimes wish we hadn't. Sometimes. That was a dog who met life with an unmatched ENTHUSIASM, she once chased a rabbit right THROUGH a cholla bush, mouth agape. The husband was picking spines out of her (including the roof of her mouth and tongue, it was wide open with enthusiasm, LOL) for over 2 hours! No common sense whatsoever but such a great dog. LOL.

If ever I knew a dog I’d have duplicates of, this one is it. She was all the fun a puppy can be (still is!) but none of the hassle. She potty trained, literally, in a day. I showed, I praised, she got it. She would do something naughty one tome - chew a shoe, get into trash- and once told no, never did it again.

And she got it, that if I said no to the shoe, no applied to all my other stuff, as well. She is just so eager to please, and so perceptive. She was a natural with babies, keeps just enough distance, so very gentle. If they grab an ear or pinch, she just takes it. Tough as nails, too. Crashes around like a bull and sprained her knee, cuts up her face, gets stung by a wasp on her lip, and she’s like “I’m okay, no big deal!”

If it weren’t so involved, I’d have loved to have her pups, but I just couldn’t put her through it, and I can’t afford a whole house full of them, as much fun as that would be.

I will consider having another Frenchie someday though. If I find another this healthy.

All of the finishes on the Minikin V2s hold up extremely well. The rubbery finish has a name, which I have forgotten of course. It is tough and I love the way it feels in my hand. I have two chrome ones - the Gold Grit and a hot pink. Most of their chrome finishes are overcoated - again there is a name for it that escapes me at the moment. These finishes are also wonderful. At one time, the chrome finishes were fingerprint prone but this new overcoat they are using solves that problem. The only one of mine that has suffered any damage is the rubbery purple. I dropped it onto an asphalt driveway from about chest height and it rolled around. Amazingly, it only has a couple of dings that only I notice. I love it so much that I bought a replacement that is still in the box. My rubbery black one doesn't have a mark on. I am impressed with the way Asmodus finishes their mods.

Can you tell I am a BIG fan? :D

I think that Asmodus might be phasing the Minikin V2 out with the Lustro taking its place. I love, love, love my Minikin V2 collection but am looking forward to a Lustro. The colors I am interested in are all on preorder, so I will wait. I am good for now.
YES that Lustro in Tiffany should be FAB. I have the hot pink but I would not call it chrome

9K for a new AC system, to repeat myself. NINE K!!!

Save the effort for someone who can actually afford it @DeloresRose , because I genuinely can't and I'd hate for all that effort to be WASTED. LOL.

Anna

I hear ya. My house has been killing me. I put 10k in it last year, porch posts, picture windows, AC (wish I had central, but just a wall unit) and a pool filtration system.
This year so far, another 3k for gardening and a pool heater that STILL isn’t working, plus I need new doors installed and My goal is to get the 2nd mortgage paid off within a year. And I’m on a fixed income. I’m doing great though, all things considered, especially for having to pay off all the hubby’s substantial medical bills while there was no money coming in. I get poor, I can do poor, done it plenty of times. It’s easier than alone, in my opinion. But I guess I’m doing pretty well at that, too.
