You can always put them in the Classies and just charge shipping.

The advantage of this would be (or any other donation site) would be you could deduct them on your taxes. Well, I'm not sure how it would work on the classies or even PIF but if you find someone who loves repairing mods... Or a donation site that may have someone who tests and repairs what is broken.

Almost anything is better than throwing them away, JMO of course.

@kross8, what you been up to? Haven't seen you around in a while.
getting ready to drive to NM, CO, then OK for a small family reunion. I still want to buy a boat to live on,,,hubby doesn't want that... so I drag him around to land to build a tiny house.. he is more open to that,, but finds 'a problem' with every piece of land. (he is not good with change,,, and i love change). He is semi open to the idea of taking a year to drive around the nation,,, (this next road trip is to no where in particular,,,, so we will see if he is ok with it)

I wouldnt even mind moving to a tiny town,, one that is shrinking.. get away from the crowds.

other than that,, not much,, trade the market,, get rid of stuff,, visit with the neighbors lol

Likewise, I wouldn’t want to watch anyone’s kids these days either. Anything can happen with little kids. I wouldn’t allow myself to be under surveillance, but I also wouldn’t want to be blamed for whatever.

I'm not so worried about it, but I mean I had kids in my office (unsurveiled) all day, often dealing with traumas of various sorts and whatnot. I had my kid in a home daycare two weeks before I quit. She wasn't bad, she was from India though, and my kid always smelled like curry. It bugged me honestly, that was not his "normal" smell. When he had the sniffles after about a week and a half, she rubbed him with Vicks vapo rub and like, that was not good. I cried, called the pediatrician, etc., and the pediatrician said he'd be fine, but I was just "done." I didn't want to work so I was a housekeeper a few years so I could bring him with.

So yes, I honestly feel for families needing care, but I've also babysat since the age of twelve, and I DID raise a kid so I'm not so worried about it. Etc.

I just... Okay, you are going to background check me (fine) but if I have a master's degree in child development and anything else, you should understand that yes, stuff happens, but it's also part of LIFE.

I will say, I'd prefer to work with a family who has kids of multiple ages and has become bullet proof to the situation, etc. It's just less "fraught." Although, I'm not really worried, stuff happens, it does, but if a family is going to be THAT suspicious etc., well I'm not interested. Because I don't mind background checks and driving records but NO WAY will I enter into a situation of such controlling behavior. Guess I'll see how it goes. But, I like kids and the idea of just caring for a set of (reasonably) normal ones is kind of nice. Cost nothing to join so eh. But yes, I will vet any family carefully, especially NOW LOL.

I've had such urges in the past. To live simply without a bunch of STUFF. I do like the idea of a small town. As long as I can get to the doctor easily and have decent internet.

I've been living with my daughter for some time. I have one room. So, I can't accumulate too much. And, I'm always trying to thin things down. The presence of family is fulfilling enough not too need to much else. Except my vaping stash, of course.

LOL, if I can do anything right it's kids. They did say my interview was "exceptional" but well.... HEHE.

If there's one thing in the world I get, it's kiddos. My sis emails me all the time about her second born and what to do (including, eventually, finding him a therapist.)

Kiddos are easy. Parents sometimes, not so much. To be fair, I did successfully "TAME" a set of kid so feral, NO other therapist wanted them. When I started, I was doing about 130 "behavioral" interventions per two hour session. I was tired, but by the end it was about 10, and I didn't have to lock my office door, it was out in the courtyard, throwing balls and whatnot. LOL, the foster family was kinda mad, because she couldn't deal with them. I think she really wanted therapy to suck. All 3, 5 and under. I was (rightrfully) proud especially the day I managed to like, SAVE them gifts from the company Christmas party. The oldest wanted the youngest's toy. After some negotiating, I said, "Do you want this toy or not?"
He said no. I put the toy high up and I guess, well, no one took him at his word, ever. LOL. He wanted it THEN.

1 hour tantrum ensued. I sent the other kids out and waited. Thought seriously about going home (it got late) offing self, or kid, but MAN. I knew if I gave in, he would win forever.

Next visit, he "wanted" his gift. That's the type of kiddo I do just fine with. LOL.

Cleaned and put fresh cotton in my RTAs today. When I had this apart, I tried for 20 minutes to get the Zeus and the face aligned. I gave up, figured I’d better just get over it, it wasn’t going to happen lol. So I just threw it together when I was done and would ya look at that! Just thought I’d show off. It’ll never happen again, I bet. Sure like it on the Boost.

In other news, the Blitzen gave me nothing but sass. It’s the worst one I have to assemble.

Send it to me, I'll make your Blitzen submissive.

Thanks for posting a pic that reminds me of someone stealing my Espion Solo and my Zeus after I only had them 1 1/2 weeks though. :(

I ordered the new Joyetech Riftcore atty

I'm really curious to see how that one plays out.
Keep us informed.
Gonna need you to keep a log of your puff count and duration so we can see if the plate lasts for 1 million puffs.
