I had a chlorine pool. Best thing I ever did was join a forum called Trouble Free Pool. They teach you how to maintain your pool with very few ingredients and NEVER have to be at the mercy of the pool store. Based on having perfect PH at all times and then using basic household ingredients to keep it there. I went from spending $800-$1000 a summer to spending maybe $200

I have a fiberglass pool. I spend $100 in chemicals a year. A little Proteam Supreme, 3” tabs, and a few shocks. I had to use ph up the first year. Oh, and soft scrub around the top edge. Easiest pool ever.

I got a bunch from there recently. Seems good to me, although I’m new to it, so what do I know? I will say, they have selection. Took me an hour to figure out what to get.

I'd like an avatar that I could control remotely, like it could do my chores, attend my job interviews, etc.

Oh my. That statement/desire is already hastening the march forward to where AI wins. LOL.

But, there are times I like a lot of uncomplicated mods. LOL, if looked at from the right angle, replay could be a bit creepy couldn't it "automatically generates the exact perfect puff" I mean, I know there's not really AI involved and etc. Hopefully no one's replay mod is following it around asking what toaster setting is best and etc.

ME TOO, like Alexa, OMG for one you know she is "recording" I mean "listening." I talk to myself WAY too much frankly and I don't need anyone hearing my musings. LOL. Fortunately the husband feels similarly.

We had several RoomBa Robots, and I hated them too, (Kid purchase, he's always been oddly interested in vacuum cleaners and owns several Kirbys I mean he buys them used and refurbishes them, probably the start of his cleaning OCD which I politely ignore, although my husband gets a bit upset when he comes over for dinner and handwashes some of our stuff. LOL. )

But (I'm sure they've improved) I hated that THING!! It was always creeping up on me, bumping into me from behind etc. LOL.

Robot technology would have to significantly improve for me to buy one, and frankly I'd rather purchase Harrison Ford, or a robot Harrison Ford and etc. Heh.
