Never ran Mint, I think I looked at back in it's early days but didn't see any advantage to it. I was always a Debian or Slackware user. I'll have to give Mint a try now that it has matured.
debian on all my servers (devuan on one) but i do like mint on the desktop (cinnamon for me). not too flashy with good long-term support. donate on a regular basis.
I'm gonna be scarce for a while. Had dinner Monday with the PM on my last big pre-retirement project and I got the notice to proceed today. Big job, short schedule and I'll be done by Labor Day.

Man, that was a bit hellish, I am starting to be ever more intensely remorseful about my first consolidation credit company they put cease and desist on a BUNCH more of my accounts. The first one took about 1.17 hours to like, establish my identity, establish the veracity of EITHER freaking credit consolidation companies, honestly, and it was distinctly the opposite of fun. Two more to go but instead I just sort of cleaned up around here, found my naturalization certificate and whatnot, and now I just have to bathe and etc., and vacuum before the brother and his dog arrive.
LOL, if there's some AUTOMATIC way that my credit is NOT restored to its former glory if I ever complete this program, well, I'm ALL FOR IT. Because frankly been minding my pennies and etc., and like, everything was FINE especially when I took a deep breath and asked my CC company what was my minimum payment (32 dollars) per month vs. ALL the late fees (minus 56 bucks, it was like close to 300 dollars, man if I'd just started to do it the RIGHT way, NONE of that would have happened but I was unprepared to pay them ALL NOW right this second, especially since they are FINE to accept my credit bureu's negotiated payment of 32 dollars a month plus like, 0% interest.
Man I want to put a "cease and desist order" against National debt relief honestly, and like, etc. But that would prevent me from complaining about them frankly!
Never Again, and I never really had a credit issue before, in fact (apart from shoes) I was sort of thrifty. It's a lot easier to be thrifty when you have money actually, but like, in PART I inflicted it on MYSELF. Although I will say can't avoid HEALTH copays but in part, it was totally my fault.
If I don't learn my lesson THIS time, I deserve to get a tattoo on my forehead that reads "dumb" only I can read it in the mirror, but I have definitely LEARNED my lesson I THINK.
LOL, big shiny of the day the kiddo gets his license back AND the truck. I accidentally called him at 7:10 when attempting the credit place and I hung up fast hoping not to break his slumber but he called me back immediately, I apologized and he was ALL BURBLY "No, it's OKAY I'm awake and I feel great!"
LOL glad someone does but I'm surprisingly non anxious dude because like WHY (CENSORED) bother. Although I will say laying off the dang blood pressure medication has ONLY been helpful. LOL.

I have read too many complaints about that vendor to take a chance. Hopefully FT will still have them in stock for a while. My account is woefully low at the moment.
i've only bought three things from them but didn't have any issues. trying to lay low on the buying front for the rest of this month...at least...

My Galaxies RDA showed up today (as did a couple Geekvape Flasks which are nice). Seems to suit the Furyan:

Agreed. It definitely cheapens the whole thing. I wish some enterprising tinkerer would reproduce the plate/button in brass. Wondering how it would look painted flat black, or perhaps covered with a thin veneer of leather or something? Oh well.
