Had issues with that in the past myself. Although the package was labeled correctly, the bar code indicated a different address, and they would never do the right thing like read the address.
If you have your local PO phone number, I found that contacting them directly can assist with making sure the package gets delivered.

Agree on contacting the local PO. Going there in person is even better. Whenever I've done that they have always been able to figure out what happened and make it right.

The national help line is a joke. The wait time is generally 30 to 40 minutes. Last time I did it they said they would look into it and let me know, I got a call back 2 weeks later asking if my problem had been resolved. Their automated system didn't even have an option to talk to a person, I just had to keep hitting 0 until it gave up and put me through to the 40 minute queue.

The guy at the local PO told me the help line operators only have access to the same information you can see for yourself when you check tracking.

Oh I spoke directly with my post office. You're right, the 800 number is useless. He's working on it, but didn't hold out much hope which is why he sent me a lost package email to submit to the sender. No idea what will happen but I expect I'm SOL on that order.

It was a pretty great and successful day. I even mixed base. I'm pretty content with what I have and I'm gonna KEEP repeating it to myself, LOL.

Got abut 4 interviews ahead, some of them nanny don't know why I am torturing myself and honestly, I think I'd rather work SW and I have a few interviews there, too. I'm downgrading my account on that site as it either a) makes me stabby, the interview process and etc. or b) I like the family enough that it would be hard to say "Yes" knowing I might leave (although honestly the idea of KNOWING I had a job) would mean good things, but not if I immediately quit.

I'll admit there were a FEW (apart from the woman who wants help with her twins they aren't even 5 months old yet, and she's at home, I wanted to say "Dude, they aren't even moving yet!") Well that was too depressing even for me, but some I'm going to as more of a sociological experiment I'm kind of interested in how bad it may GET. With my luck, the family and two year old I ADORED, will ask me to be their nanny and I will have to make a heart wrenching decision but yeah it's been interesting, to put it mildly.

I need to STOP for now, honestly, but downgrading myself on the site should help with that.

I had a good afternoon yesterday with the kiddo, it was deep thoughts and a little tragic watching him work through whether he even wants phone contact with his dad. I mean.... That dude TORTURED my kiddo. He doesn't really want to, but he doesn't want bio dad to die in the meantime (and gosh, that guy, shocked he' s not dead ALREADY.) But, they surprise you,. The best I could offer was to keep bio dad's name and email on file for the kid and to tell him that as far as I was concerned there was no MANDATE for him to contact his dad, and as far as I was concerned I understood how deeply painful it is/was to watch someone you love be painfully dreadful to self and others, and he should never feel like he HAD to contact his dad, and if he did die, I would go with him to the funeral. I also said that I knew buried DEEP inside that guy was a kind, gentle and worthwhile person but that it was buried DEEP and that it's sad to watch folks you love being destructive and we all don't have a handle on that 100% of the time. And that I was personally glad I didn't talk to my dad for a bit, but that I was also glad I did get back in contact, but that my dad's awful was in NO way equivalent to the ex's awful, but that he can hang tight and know I have contact info any time he wanted.

He was crying, it was awful but then I got a "Thanks mom, you are a great mom." I didn't even respond with my usual reflective statement at the moment, "Well, that's more a reflection on YOU not me, I suck." Because LOL I think I actually AM a decent mom, if nothing else.

I was gonna mix up testers here today but husband has his every other month bout with food poisoning (I guess that's what it is, could be stress) GOD I hope I find work but anyway, well, his moans are really the basis of a new opera libretto so I may not be doing much other than trying to get him hydrated and etc. He has a weak stomach. LOL.

I had the misfortune of needing to call recently and the automation said 'wait time 70 minutes' Of course I hung up. Sent massive amounts of email and got answers rather quickly.

A few weeks ago, I had the issue with my credit card and had to straighten that out. And today, I tried my debit at the ATM only to find it had expired in December lol. Seems like nature’s way of saying stop spending money.

My debit card was hacked yesterday, think I got it all straightened out now.

These arrived today, what an amazing set of wheels to replace the worn out ones on the computer chair.

Been there done that a few times. Thankful I set up alerts on my cards to my phone so I can spot any shenanigans
That’s how I found out about the unauthorized charges on my credit card. The debit I only use to get cash out of the bank. Which is why it took me 7 months to realize it was expired lol.

    Morning shinies :)

Mixing went well yesterday - did a remix of diyordie's cuprian mint chocolate chip ice cream. Even tho chocolate is my favourite food group - I don't like vaping it for some reason o_O

    This is what I mixed:

Only problems on the farm were my baby chickens. 20 of the more adventurous found a hole in their fence - and went even more free range than they already are.

Everywhere I went - there was a baby chicken

Fixed the hole - and an hour later got them all back in their paddock. It's MUCH easier rounding up sheep - sheep don't have wings ;)

@Eskie since you are repeat customer AVS may help you out. The cs is pretty good there.

I sent them an email yesterday along with the lost/undeliverable notice from the post office but no word back yet. Was hoping for a response in 24 hours, but maybe they will tomorrow, even if it's to say the problem is USPS not them. They're usually a very responsive group so I'm a bit surprised no reply yet.
