I found a site that is in California. So it was either yellow ostrich, or yellow crocodile, so I got the crocodile. I will check out the ebay store too. Thanks for the tip. :thumb:

Speaking of crocodile, do you know the difference between an alligator and a crocodile?

One you see later, and one you see after while...............:D:D:D:D:D:D

I get the juice capacity of a squonk mod, but other than that, what's the attraction? All day with no repeated tank re-filling? A better way to drip?
flavour of an RDA with the convenience of a tank? they do have their quirks though and i can see how they're not for everyone. i have quite a few squonkers. go through phases of using them.

Good morning shiny folk forced myself up at a decent hour. Pedes clinic emailed me they were trying to work out scheduling but still want me to come. This is good as I'd like to have Future Income so I can go visit the kid among other things. Last outing today before he leaves, I am seriously SAD so doing what I do with all goodbyes, pretending it isn't happening. I hate goodbyes with a fiery passion so I can't muster up emotion until AFTER they happen. I did advise the kid this, since I'm weird.

He was out crying at the little dog last night so it's clear he handles goodbyes appropriately. LOL. I tried to cheer him up (we and the dog could skype! I said) but eh.

Hope you all (including me) have a decent day with not too many tears in it... LOL.

Morning shinies :)

Anyone got the asmodus colossal 80w mod? It's on my wish list

I have been using the Asmodus Colossal since last fall. Since then I have added two more — I have white, black and most recent addition in gray. As you can tell I do like them. If you are partial to pink they also have a white/UV pink mod that changes to pink outdoors. I have seen it and I cannot remember if it gets as dark as their pink version however you can always ask Asmodus.

What I have works well and the finish appears to be durable although I have not dropped it on a hard surface. Some may consider the Colossal to be heavy. Hand feel is perfect for me. The battery door is magnetized the entire internal length of the mod so no issues. I have a Jac mod that has two tiny magnets that have fallen out and if you do not glue them back in correctly the door will not fit back on.

You do have to swipe down the middle of the screen to change the wattage just like the Minikin 2. To change the other setting swipe left or right. I am a simple vaper so the only thing I may change is the wattage. As @chanelvaps mentioned start at the very top of the screen and slowly swipe down to the bottom of the screen to unlock it to change the wattage. Once you have changed the wattage, press the fire button to lock it. At the very bottom of the screen there are three letters: N-Normal, S-Soft and H-Hard. The letters correspond to how the device will react on the ramp time (heating of the coils to each of the settings). This can be changed by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom however not in the middle of the screen. I use the N setting for my taste. I don’t have the Minikin 2 so not sure if this function exists on it. Once you have used this mod it will become second nature and it is easy to use.

In addition if you like small mods I do have a couple of the Mini Minikins. If I need to be stealth for whatever reason this is what I take and even when I do not want to be stealth. This is a 50W mod that uses an18500 battery. The kit comers with one battery. It also comes with the Ohmlette tank in two different drop-in coil resistances. Just know that the 0.4 ohm coil is recommended from 50-70W. There is also a 0.8 ohm coil recommended from 25-40W. I do not sub ohm so this is not an issue for me and I just give the Ohmlette to a friend.

I have been pleased with the customer service from Asmodus. Any time I have emailed them, they have been responsive.

Added to my list, I want the gun metal one. :thumb:

FYI — I have seen the gun metal version and it is very nice and very appropriate for a member of the Shinyitis thread. I seem to recall it has a different finish than the other colors so fingerprints will show. For whatever reason I am thinking it will show scratch marks. If you are definitely interested in this color you may want to contact Asmodus and ask them especially if this is not to your liking. Otherwise a very nice looking mod.

Thanks for all the info! It’s on my wishlist. It seems the only difference between the minikin and this is one less battery, which would be a nice take-along.

I have a cousin in Needham. The closest he gets to Boston proper now is Fenway.

But I ever wanted to hear him rant, all I had to do was include the word "traffic."
