morning all.
Dropped one of my iJoy 20700's tonight on the shop floor, now there is a substantial 45° chamfer on part of the bottom edge... That battery is going to the recycle people tomorrow, I don't like even having it in the apartment.

Needed a replacement, so now I have 2 Molicel INR20700As and 2 Samsung 30T 21700s inbound.

These are pricey cells...
tried to get 30Ts the other day. they were out of stock so i ended up getting 2 40Ts instead. would have preferred the 30Ts but the 40Ts will do (furyan).
there won't be much shiny getting this month unless i sell some liquids. a few things are incoming and some waiting on despatch. ordered some new scales for DIY (current model only measures in 0.1g...new ones are 0.01g) and some digital callipers as i seem to have misplaced my existing set.

Good morning!

I started doing push us every morning the end of June. I’m so out of shape, I could barely manage five lol. My shoulders have been sore, trying to lock up ( I had surgery on the left one, needed to get the right done too but hubby got sick so...) I needed to strengthen them.

Anyway, I’m up to 20, which I bet sounds lame but keep in mind I’m a grandma. And I’ve lost 4 lbs. Pretty proud of that.

and so you should be! that's excellent progress.
i've got metal holding the bones in left elbow together after a BMX accident...can't do a single push up...or pull up

Nice, all the guy here carries is the 30Ts and they will be used in the Furyan as well. The two 20700As will be going into my DIY dna squonkers, one of them has a Sanyo 20700B in it at the moment and it will be nice to unleash the powah!

Would have grabbed another pair of 30Ts for my PWM mod, but the cost adds up too quickly... ;)

How do you like the PWM mod, I’ve been toying with getting one soon, but discovered another LiPo PWM callled the Scarab It’s even more powerful than the Berserker I was originally looking at.

I love it, much better vape than a regulated but you have to be mindful of your battery limitations. A PWM mod will fire at the current voltage level of the batteries and you can adjust the duration of the pulse. It's like turning a light switch off and on really fast sort of acting as a dimmer. The Big Al's iPWM board that I use runs at 25kHz so it is dead quiet and works very well. It has a few other features like RPP, Low Battery shut off and will take any source from 2S to 6S. It has a 180A mosfet on the board but recommended maximum current is 60A.

A PWM board doesn't really care what you put on it and will fire a 0.06 ohm build with 20A batteries if that is all you have in there, so again you have to be mindful of your build resistance and battery limitation. It would be no different than running a stacked mod.

Big Als iPWM and the Voltrove NLPWM are the most common DIY boards.

Good not-Monday Shinys!
Wow, I've spent only $60 in the past 2-3 months .
...on vape stuff.
I hear that. First 2 are shiny new box sets I got this week, another OTW.
This first is Hybrid SACD. No good on my old CD player but my Blu Ray does it.

and my new soundtrack to The Tommyknockers

Because I don't have enough Classical music.

outgoing classical. A friend already bought a medium Priority box full from me.

Good thing I'm primarily a hard rocker.
I'd be suffering if I was a classical banger.

I only had 1 shelf full of classical when I switched to vaping 5 years ago.
$300/month on smokes to $15/month of DIY juice & DIY coils/rayon
Vaping tastes, smells AND SOUNDS better than smoking :thumb:
