Hello, my name is Tony01 and I’m an addict. I’ve had shinyitis ever since I saw that the eleaf pico has a copper/black color combination. Every day is a struggle for me. Three weeks ago I caved and started looking for a longer lasting setup and got myself a gold dvarw clone on an eleaf ipower (22mm). Now I’m considering the eleaf ipower qc200 so I can run a 24mm gold dvarw on it. Or possibly a dna mod with two or three 18650s. Please help I’m desperate.
Welcome Tony01 and thanks for sharing. We all have the same problem as you and this is where we come. We will help you with your addiction by showing ours

They arent Goon style. They have a single o-ring and don't work with every atty. Most but not all.
That is not a problem, I can adapt or modify. ;)

The 810 on the Glaz RTA is quite sloppy and loose. A little triple core fused around the inside of the top cap slot with a tad smaller o-ring makes standard 810 drip tips fit perfectly snug now.

Hey @Letitia don’t have the pico anymore, it was stolen in June :( was running stock sw. I was using a tube mech as well as a pico squeeze with an rta on it that I was planning to modify the case into a side by side. Which I’m still planning on doing.

For DNA mods I was actually hoping to make my own with a 60 or 75w board. I was looking at the macro but may not like the overhang, and others. I been looking at the Therion and others but then stop myself, remembering the shinyitis. Then decide I wanna make my own, then realize I’m too deep in other custom projects right now (building a lightweight electric motorcycle from scratch).

I think of all the stuff I’d want hardware wise from a custom vape. Then I realize how ridiculous all of this sounds while I have the ipower dvarw in my hand. LOL!

Far as the pico squeeze SxS I’m planning on cutting the bottom half off and making a longer battery cap, same size as the doggy tank. Be a great setup. An efficient, compact mech with a button that will never fail, that you can plug in to charge.

Nice! I have found they work on most of the stuff I have. I tried them out on everything once. They are quite short so be careful not to burn your lips. The stem is also quite short but is enough to get a good fit. I mostly use them on the GR1. It has a plastic top cap and doesn't get hot at all. For the price they are cool little DT's i love them on tiny attys to make them even tinier.

Have you found the modder's forum yet. You'll find some like minded vaper's around here. Tools and I don't get on well together so I buy everything pre assembled. Keeps the world a safer place.:D

my problem with the glaz is that the top cap has a fondness for sliding open in my pocket.

Mine too, only happened just once so far.

I suggested to Maggie @ SC that they put a spring/ball bearing type of latch on the sliding top. She told me she would pass that suggestion along to the designer. :thumb:

For now we will have to start putting a vape band around the top like the Smok TVF8, TFV12 and Baby Beast users do to keep their junk closed.

Been there, done it, got the T-Shirt. Bank foreclosed on me [I was within my O/D limit but was late with a couple of credit card payments over 2 quarters]. I suppose they looked upon me as high risk, as I was self employed. The other factor was I had sold my house to release the equity, getting out from under the crippling mortgage payments [very high interest, again, because I was self employed] and buying a smaller property outright. Despite having banked with them for years and earning them a tidy profit, they decided they didn't want my custom any more as I wasn't going to be their milch cow.

I've got my own back, since then I have not had a credit card or a loan from any bank. If I can't afford it, I don't buy it, or save I up for it. I am bombarded with credit card offers, loan offers, and every time I go into the bank they upgrade my account and offer me an overdraft etc. I smile sweetly, say nothing, but remember this joke.

A man went into a bank and asked the manager for a loan. He looked up the customers credit history, and said "I can't really offer you a loan because of your credit history, but I'm a gambling man. I lost an eye in a childhood accident, and if you can tell me which one, I'll sign off your loan." The customer thought for a second and replied "It's you left one". Dumbfounded, the bank manager replied "I've been asking this question for 45 years now, and you are the first customer to get it right. If you tell me how you worked it out, I'll sign your loan agreement". "Sure" said the man, it was simple - Your left eye had the most compassion in it".
Going to a smaller home in a good neighbourhood is to me one of the wise moves ATM. I did that after my father passed and I don't regret it.
As for credit cards, I was 16 years without one. After I started cashing on my retirement, the bank gave me one. I use it just to build up my credit, but in very small amount since now they're charging 120% over non paid charges. So it's just used to pay Netflix and Spotify. Get rid of the physical (after you write down the number) and toss it.

Good morning, oh fellow travellers of iridescence.

It has been raining all night, but at least the sheep and cows got a wash. Mrs OG has gone out, so I'm safe for the immediate time being.

Apparently, I have 2 packages due today, and one tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it, the package that was meant to be delivered at the end of the week arrived yesterday, and one that was meant to arrive yesterday has been rescheduled for today.

Not that I'm complaining. As long as they don't get my shiny bits wet.

Will post pictures (smudging out the address labels) as the action happens. After this week, my vaping budget, has well, evapeourated (groan).

Oh, credit bureaus LOVE you on the atmospheric rise... They tolerate you when you know, you are heading into the exosphere where you can't breathe and like, tolerate you for a bit as you miss a payment here and there, and THEN, when you are free falling back toward earth the only thing moving faster than terminal velocity is your credit score (in the negative direction) and then there is also this brief period where like, they act like they love you and CALL you a lot. I do mean, A LOT.

Then, once you consolidate they freeze everything (as if they hadn't already) (also impacting that credit score) and treat you like a small child as if you know, "remedial budgeting" is your issue and THAT is what you need.

I'm here to say remedial budgeting works 0% of the time. What works for me is cutting up all my cards, entering consolidation while realizing that YES, 99 times out of 100 I can get by with what I have, and when the credit bureau finally returns my credit to me (as if it's some sort of prize) not activating ANY of them until/unless I need to.

And/or it's been so LONG since the last consolidation, I forget. This time I'm gonna try to hide them from myself when I'm highly ANXOUS, this means that due to state dependent learning, I will be only able to FIND them when there's an actual emergency.

LOL, however, I am still receiving credit card OFFERS.

I truly don't understand credit card companies or maybe I do too WELL there is always that.

It is so exciting to watch some of my 30 dollar copays actually impacting my DEBT there is THAT.

Anna

In the 90’s, even though I was working and made decent money, and my name was on my mortgage ( along with hubby’s) I found I had no credit rating. That’s how they did it then, married women at least got zero credit. I had to do a 90 days same as cash thing on tires I had cash to buy. That got me a credit score - a really low one, but better than nothing.

Then I was able to get a credit card. And once I did that, I got offers from everyone every week.

My credit was in the excellent range when my husband died. I never got a single offer until It dropped 50 points instantly. Then, I was still ‘good’. And the iffers started coming again. Now that I’ve got it up again, no more offers. So that’s how they work. They don’t make money off people like me who pay that stuff off every month. I only use it for convenience and never pay interest.

They’re looking for people who need to borrow, can probably eventually pay it back, but not before paying some interest.

Downside is, my interest rate is high, and no cc will give me lower. Because if they do snag me, they want it to be worth the wait lol. So if I have to pay for something on credit, I’ll use my revolving second mortgage, interest is low on that.

I go on YouTube when I get a new phone and find a good tutorial. Go threw and make it do the things I think are cool then I don't have to mess with.it any more pulse there are so many hidden features ,settings and customizations I would never be able to do half of what my phone is capable of without some help.
I have a Galaxy 9+ I really like it.

Yep, I have been doing the same thing.

Having issues? I got mine the day after launch and have had almost no issues.

No issues at all, just learning the features.

Bonus points if you can identify the bits I had to add as they were not supplied.
