I've run that way on my desktop for a long time, the SSD boot/program drive breathes new life into old gear. :D
Is this for more memory? I have a desktop that I love that is running slow and I need more memory because it is running slow. I do not want to buy a new one and learn Windows 10. Could I do what you are talking about and where would I take it to get this done?

There is a little trick we use on the Plus to get the right coil leg length for a postless deck. Pull the the JFC ring off of the base and use it to measure the legs of your coil. Place the bottom of your coil on the top edge of the JFC ring and cut the legs at the bottom.
excellent tip. I will try it. I coiled and wicked it last night and it came out a little lower ohms then I wanted so I will be doing it again. I do like the Supreme V2 but I wanted the same velocity deck that came with my other Supreme V2. It should not change decks just because I changed colors from black to silver. Damn FT.

Assuming we have power that is.

got an SSD in my thinkpad. purrs along in a braw fashion. one can never have enough memory but i'd suggest forgetting w10 and adopting a *nix based OS. learning curve may be steep at first but worth it in my opinion. many are listed here.
xtar charger and a single 30T due today. along with bizarre sauerkraut ingredients.

It's not for memory in the sense of on board motherboard memory. It's an incredibly fast hard drive. So while it does store data the biggest advantage of an SSD is how quickly your programs can load (among other advantages). You still need suffient memory on the motherboard to run your programs and multi-task, but the SSD just makes the whole experience way faster.

Oh, and good morning shiners! Looks from tracking like KY replacement Intake bubble glass is arriving today. One defect corrected. Second on its way back for replacement. Not bad, I can pretend it's shiny mail.

I'd have sent you mine, lol.
I hate bubble glass tanks. o_O

I keep forgetting to mention that Sep 12th was my six year vapeversary. Vaping is such a standard part of my life now that I rarely ever think about those years that I smoked.

    Big congrats to you.

Do you have any local tech that can take a look at it? What windows are you running with what packs? When was the last time you backed it up and off loaded a bit of that HD?
Or, go to my computer and take a snap off it and we'll look at it.
You can buy a new computer and load it with whatever OS that you're using. You won't be using it at its fullest, but the Acer E15 is a great machine for 600 dollars and certainly no slouch! I bought one for Oscar early this year and he's thrilled!

Most exciting “shiny” incoming today is princess #1 with my 5 week old granddaughter for an overnighter. Can’t wait for snuggles! Tomorrow our vet is coming to give the pups their yearly shots, and princess is coming to be her vet tech. Spent the rest of my shiny $$ on 4 pairs of vaneli shoes , which will come today. On the horizon is a new version of the double barrel. Pictures released on the Facebook group last night. Upgraded, sealed board and a hinged door. Will save my shiny $$ for one when it emerges

Just a note for posting Amazon links everything after and including the "/ref" can be deleted as it not required making the link much nicer. The main reason not to post links like that is Amazon Affiliate codes are buried in there, and I'm not going to give some unknown person a percentage of my purchase.

Not for more memory but like Eskie said faster program loading speed and OS bootup. It really depends on what your current machine is and what version of Windows you are running now. A lot of the "good deal" machines from places like Best Buy etc are inexpensive for a reason, such as only one RAM slot, SATA port etc which makes them very limited in their upgradeability...

    Good morning Shiny's.
USPS should be leaving me a shiny or two today while I'm at work. Of course we are overloaded with jobs today so can't take lunch away from the office. Will make for a lovely treat at the end of a tedious day.

You know what we will require (or beg for) once you get them........
