No need to get so fancy just for some ribs.
We do get the occasional request to cremate large animals. Unfortunately you can't cremate animals in a human crematory. Ridiculous law considering the temps required.

Have something to do with the diseases large animals can carry?

Before my first deployment we were encouragement to make 'arrangements' and such.
I put in that I wanted to be cremated and have the ashes from a certain area of my body spread over the Virgin Islands from an aircraft.

I might have been slightly inebriated........

So here's a question. I had a dog cremated with the ashes returned to me. That was a special dog cremator they used?

No wonder it was so expensive.
There are smaller crematories for animals or some companies keep an old crematory for animal cremations. You obviously haven't had to pay FD charges for human cremation.

Technically 105 to 250 will kill just about any bacteria or virus, but I figured the gummit would have some crazy reg about communicable diseases and the vapor, I mean exhaust gases that are released when cremating large animals.
Their gasses are the same as ours. We can cremate diseased bodies if they are in a bio hazard body bag. Everything is killed in the oven.
