Made a corn soufflé the other day.you would not use my recipe, since there was jiffy mix in it.

Soufflé is a good idea but I'd probably go with either sweet orange and grand marnier or savoury gruyère soufflé.
Old world style. None of your southern deep fried bacon and grits soufflé stuff

Though corn sounds interesting, certainly worth a try. Without jiffy, would you take untreated, cooked or nixtamalized corn flour for that?

Looked into a few recipes and it seems to just be normal soufflé mixture with sweet corn and/or creamed corn added, no corn flour. Doesn't matter, I'll figure out how to make one with corn flour
That'd go well with some mexican style braised pork belly

Morning all. I’m not gone, just so dang busy lately. I was trying to arrange getting my front door replaced, and for whatever reason, the measure guy entered it into the computer as “impact only” and the salesperson was completely clueless as to what that meant. Wasted half a day waiting on that info.

It means, hurricane proof. Which also means without windows. Also means costs three times as much.

Nobody seems able to explain why I need a hurricane proof door in Ohio. We have zero hurricanes in our history. My current door is an old, possibly original, wooden door with nine lights.

I told the salesperson to sort it out and let me know... or I’d have to cancel the order. If I have to pay for a hurricane door and not have windows, I’d better have an ocean view and palm trees to go with it.

Afternoon Shinies,

Storm Ali has now hit Cumbria, very high winds today. Lost power, Internet and Telephone earlier, but everything except the phone back on. Not too worried, most of the calls I get are from foreign gentleman offering to fix my Windows PC or to offer me dodgy financial services. I run Linux & BSD and am skint. They can't be too bright, they still keep calling.

My single flavour SNV experiment (Orange cream) smells delightful but is as rough on the throat as unblended, bootlegged whiskey transported in an old boot. The flavour test has got a nice colour, will leave that to stew a while.

Been random sampling small testers of the first batch, from 7-10 days ago. All smell good, but depth of flavour definitely lacking. Added some flavours to my wish list for the next time I ever have money. Am thinking of migrating to 100% VG, not sure if the throat hit is down to PG or just the rawness of the juice. Don't like it though, far prefer a smooth vape.

Found a recipe for a Marlboro Red clone vape, will definitely be trying that when I've got the cash. Smoked more soft packs in my time than had hot dinners. Really want a recipe for Gauloises, they were my first love until people begged me to change my brand because of the smell ...

Not soon until my birthday. Any suggestions for a cheap MTL mod that is well made and takes 18650's ? Might be able to persuade Mrs OG to get me this rather than the mandatory pyjamas and slippers

VG is smoother but not particularly mtl friendly without distilled water. Can you get nic salt shots? I prefer a smooth hit and mix with salts in a vg/dw base.

I woke up 2.5 hrs late. Nothing I have to do today but man, I hate that feeling seriously. Well, I'm GONNA update my Legend today I mean dead batteries without finishing ONE tank of doggy and I know it's a non thirsty tank and like, I forgot to switch it off but I believe I would like better battery life. That and yoga and it's like EAST coast grey outside, which I am not currently appreciating although the husband seems to be he's out in the dirt!!

Oh, and my Xtar charger arrived yesterday, it's AWESOME. Pics later.
