Heh, couldn't help myself.
Pre-ordered.

Introducing PlayStation Classic:

I used to use an original for my audio, but the gain wasn't worth the annoyance of cords and such, and nowadays the gains are fairly minimal.

So these are otw. Fell out of love with the Recurve. For Pulse 80(90)wView attachment 767785
Those are nice.

I would love to see leather or wood inlaid panels for the Pulse 80. They psychedelic color panels give me a headache and the carbon styles are bleh. I don't need stabwood, but I'd look.

Bringing in one of these for the wife as a replacement socket 775 motherboard is just too old and hard to find... ;)

It is powered by 9,216 central processing chips from IBM and 27,648 graphics processors from Nvidia, another American tech company, that are lashed together with 185 miles of fiber-optic cable.

Cooling Summit requires 4,000 gallons of water a minute, and the supercomputer consumes enough electricity to light up 8,100 American homes.

At 200 petaflops it would be great for recipes and such.......... :D

have a look at the Asmodus colossal 80w mod. For an atty there's the sjmy doggystyle RTA - I have one or two of them

Like the specs, gently suggested that tonight to OH, response was "That is not much of a birthday present now is it ?". Not sure whether to be complimented or insulted .

Meanwhile, spent a fruitless 45 mins hunting for my small plastic funnel that fits in 10ml bottles. Left it in the kitchen to air dry, and it has now disappeared. A number of scenarios are possible:
  • Cat 1 or Cat 2 could have knocked it somewhere while hunting for food and now adopted it as a play toy.
  • I've lost the plot as usual and put it somewhere safe and forgotten all about it
  • Mrs OG is getting jealous of the attention I am paying to all my vaping kit and realising how vital a piece of kit this is, may be holding it hostage for future ransom.
I'm currently optimistic that it may be [1] or [2]. If it is [3], my time on this forum may be short.

Tonight's experiment, build a pair of 0.32 ohm coils and test out the dripping capabilities of the Nautilus. Need something to keep me occupied, don't want to mix any more juice until I know how the last lot has turned out.

I know a guy who used to service water-cooled computers from IBM. I think he still does, or still works for the company that runs/ran them. He's an indy now, too.

Very cool.
That's the new Summit.
It brought the title of World's Fastest Supercomputer back to the USA from China.
