My go to is 8-9mg salts and I use 3-4mg in my drippers. When I was using 12mg I used 6mg when dripping. There is no rule other than whatever works for you.

Agreed, I was scratching my head about this, clearly it is a precaution so that there is no comeback from the vape police.

A bit like the "Do not reheat" and "Warning this product contains nuts" statements on macaroni shells and peanuts, which drive me loopy. Rather than actually putting anything useful (like the actual full ingredients list).

Well, I'm so glad I made that phone call, as I was preparing to exit the house I got a call from HR lady and pulled THIS magic card out of the deck:

36.jpg

So, like she was all, "Have you gotten your background check and UA stuff yet?" I was all, "No, I have NOT but I think my credentialing is done."

Long story followed about shifting personnel and whatnot, and I was like, "Oh well, that's great do you think this can be completed like, in time?"

And she was all like, I will send you it today," and also, I have to drive like 4.5 hours tomorrow to go get my UA screening and etc. Which, like, okay, caused the husband to have a meltdown as we are out of ink so he's gonna go get some (LOL he carefully did NOT say, "I would have had plenty of ink if not for your worthless BOOK Anna," but I could see him think it.) Now and also oil and filter for my car because he's having a meltdown over me driving up there and etc., but ALSO I spoke to my Licensing Board (not because I wished to, I fervently desire as little contact with them as possible) and even though I reactivated my license in JUNE AND had to do 30 CEUs then, including the one they MAKE you give them more money for by REQUIRING IT (it is also boring and dumb but I remember it enough I think to just take the test) well my license expires on October 31st since I GUESS EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE INACTIVE you are just paying them to MAKE you that, (like 100 bucks) then they keep count of the time and GOUGE you to reactivate when you do, but I still paid like $500 for a 3.5 month license, pretty much.

And no, I must submit NEW CEUS because ah, I DON'T KNOW WHY I did them 3 months ago and the freaking FORM even says, "within the past two years."

So basically, I paid an extra $375 to JUST be inactive not to mention DOUBLE the CEUS and they're not super cheap.

Also my doctor's office FAILED again so my meds aren't ready this is a problem.

Surprisingly all is not lost, dude, I'm actually sitting here semi calmly while the husband flusters, and I guess I will be going out later in the day. After yoga, since much of my day tomorrow is going to be spent driving somewhere where I can like, pee in a cup. Awesome! LOL.

She said I can still start on time but I'm... sort of glad I called, and it is SO LOVELY to know the background check hasn't even been started since that is where it all went wrong LAST time but OH WELL plus that was totally an issue that I do not even FACE this time. So, all told I'm reasonably chill, I GUESS.

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
o/t

My husband and I are both Americans, we are thinking about getting a passport & passport card. (both of us have never had/used a passport,,,,,yet I dealt with many non-Americans with passports,, so that more like reverse use for my situation.

ok,, let assume we finally have the passport & card in hand.

When we go to 'book our trip' online does the airline have use 'check a box' or something at the point of airline ticket purchase that we have valid passports? or do they just wait until we show up at the airport? next,, what about Visa's? I assume we will have to check the arrival countries laws on Visa's and apply within their time window.

We assume the card is all we need to travel a tiny corner of Canada from US to Alaska by car/train/bus?,,, hahah, "Uber'

thanks for any help/info

You have all those little metal mugs they got in the restaurants as well. Reminds me when I was in London. In Wembley there was an Indian restaurant (no sh:censored: Sherlock) with only Indian people in it, not one white bread cracker a:censored: like us (my wife and me), so naturally we decided to go in and have a bite.
I ordered a "Thali" which turned out to be about 6 of those mugs filled with all kinds of stuff plus some rice and some papadums. Cost 4 quid and was delicious (and seasoned for Indians

). After eating and another look on the menu we realized it was a vegetarian place :D

Also people looked at us funny and we found out why when the waiter told us that the mug with water on the table was not to drink but to wash our hands

Its been a long time since I worked for the airlines, but I would guess the reservation systems now will be tied into the online booking system and will require a valid passport number [especially taking into account security concerns].

I'd be surprised if you need a visa for Canada, I would have thought there would be a bi-lateral agreement being so close together geographically. If so, it might be a "fill in a card on the plane" job, as we had to do when travelling to the US from the UK.

Take all of this with a pinch of salt though, as a UK national who hasn't flown abroad post 9/11.

Thali is one of the best Indian eating experiences, that variety is superb and itm is one of my favourites.

I always make a habit of never drinking anything with lemon in it, unless of course it is gin. If it didn't have lemon in it, you were cheated ...

Slow day working at the shop today... The Newegg shipment arrived at the post office this AM, so I picked it up on the way in and spent the slack time building the wife's replacement box.

I thought they had left a part out as there was no way to mount the Ryzen's cooler. I didn't realize you had to remove the plastic mounts from the board and screw the cooler onto the existing plate... Been out of the loop too long. ;)

Dream Theater collection playing on the tube amp and a building I did go.

Not a bad case for a $30, some acceptable cable management space on the backside. :thumb:
Loading up Win7 off of USB when I get home and then the joy of transferring data and setting...
