here is a video where I think it disproves your theory
The "whipped cream" was a joke, not a theory.
Also the guy tests the wrong things to see if a liquid gets steeped in an ultrasonic bath. He's testing for coarse mixing but I've never actually heard anybody say that an ultrasonic does that. The process is supposed to be: shake shake shake (I do about 100 shakes) and then put it in the ultrasonic cleaner. With a liquid dye you probably won't see any difference. However you do see a big difference with pigments (my artsy painter brother does exactly that), they go from suspended in the liquid to completely dissolved (well technically it's still a suspension but you can't make out any pigment with the naked eye any more).
I've also steeped, and still do, in an ultrasonic cleaner and I can taste the difference. It's not a subtle thing so placebo is unlikely to play a major role. I'd have to do a blind test shaken vs shaken+sonic'd with my other brother (the vaping one) to see if he picks up on it (I'm quite confident he will).

While we now know for sure you can't circulate-mix liquid with an ultrasonic bath there's no case made in the video for it influencing or not influencing the taste of already well mixed liquid+flavor ;)

Did you try it out to know if you like the button. Might help you decide how to proceed.
Really need some real world feedback.

And a black one lol.
Yep. It's awesome. The button is adjustable so you can crank it down to keep it from accidentally firing. It hits really hard too, thanks to the constant contact. It's everything the reviews say it is.

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
Since I don't want to fool with glass I don't use the UC to steep. Battery-powered hand mixer and time serves me well enough.
i use a powered hand blender for 500 mls at a time (NO nic is in the recipe until point of use at the 100+30ml bottles)

I have this on the way (I won it, one of those select your wins which is awesome, does that count?

With that said, today it hit me that I am 99.9% convinced I will actually be starting work in 3 weeks, and it was sort of... startling in a way. I was all super responsible and like cleaned up vast swatches of my area of living including the kitchen (AND the fridge which counts triple and stuff) I will be making a practice drive tomorrow.... again....

It's really almost frightening in a way. It will also mean I begin "Project operation save for a dicodes mod" etc., (it's good to have goals) but somehow posting the pic of the one I want on this thread sort of seems well, cruel and unusual punishment. I'm hoping to achieve it by my next birthday. LOL.

BUT MAN. I really think this is going to happen, and I think it's good because the husband had a total meltdown trying to achieve the correct type of oil for my car (I guess our Autozone has like, no parts manuals? Even the computer system was down) and he had been dealing with the staff for an hour and well, it wasn't going well. He tersely gave me incorrect suggestions to look for the oil cap (which lists the oil I guess) and like, he was wrong on color, area of the engine, and several other key items. I finally just figured it out and listed it. I received terse instructions to send him a picture for confirmation. Then he texted back, "Good, I knew I was right."

I did not text back what I was thinking, I texted, "Oh honey, glad you are right, I know how helpful that can be for you.... like, always. LOL."

I need to get him out of South Tucson I think.

Total budget around 135 Euro, $160 USD.

@Hightech Redneck, is this the one?

@untar, what goes on inside your mind is clearly a result of the cultural conditioning from living in a country where the toilets have a ledge so you can examine your personal faecal deposits at length without shame.

Us Scots are so tight we don't suffer from such issues :D.

Meanwhile, here is a video where I think it disproves your theory:

Yep
Its unregulated so build like a mech, but has safety.
Mine has been good, you may have noticed I have quiet a few squonks. I typically carry 2 mods at work, to help avoid vapers tongue with the same flavor all day. For about the last month the recurve and the cut have been my work mods.
My higher end dont leave the house like my spade 21700.
But I digress, here's an older pic of my penguin. I mean recurve lol.

Mentioned it when this came up earlier in the thread.
If you arent ordering right now you might want to wait a beat and look at the new topside.
That is the only squonk I have seen recently that I said I want. The bottle refills via a cap versus removing the rda or bottle. It is regulated, I think to 80 watts.
Still on preorder but launching in like the next week or so.
The vapor chronicles on YouTube is the creator and his presentation video is up if you are interested.

That's the 2nd time in a few nights I've totally misinterpreted posts here, I think the nicotine reduction is truly beginning to get to me .

I believe he has totally got it wrong, and when I get a chance and some food colouring I'll try and prove it. As I understand it firing ultrasound at a plastic bottle will attenuate the waves, you really need a glass bottle for this method to be effective.

Unless the transducer is closely coupled to the jar as well, you will have limited results. I used to work with ultrasonics a lot (I worked for a ultrasonic test equipment manufacturer) and different materials respond very differently under different scenarios. It probably isn't a good idea to immerse any of your bits long term in an ultrasonic bath, but in small doses I'd rather have that than microwaves (which will cook you very quickly).

We used to have a heated Trifluroethane ultrasonic bath for cleaning PCBs. If you could capture the vapour from that in an ejuice, you would make millions. The fumes from that would send you to the moon .... Didn't taste nice though :D.

Wow, I think I'm going to have to wait for a bit, the Topside knocks other squonkers into a cocked hat design wise. You can tell that VC has put a lot of thought into it.

Not available in the UK yet as far as I can see, and I suspect first adopters are going to pay a premium.

You've pushed me (or is it squeezed me?) into the squonk camp, @Hightech Redneck :thumb:.

Love the looks of the Topside. I think that one is at the top of my list. I will wait for the Shinyotis Reviews tho.
