It's usually warmer in Alaska than it is where I live. Seriously it's very messed up. I have a -50F sleeping bag that is 10 inches thick and sometimes that isn't even enough ha ha
It was only about -6 with wind chills to -30 and -40. Everything was up in the mountains on the Black Rapids Glacier.
I don't do cold at all, 50 is cold to me.
When my wife takes over the A/C in summer, everyone laughs cause I wear sweats and a hoodie around the house while she wears shorts.
I'd leave the thermostat on about 80 if I could get away with it.
