I’d rather have a single Samsung 30t or 40t 21700... 30amp 4000mah in a single compact cell.
I love my 30Ts and the 40Ts are coming today. I don't care for big mods so 21700s are perfect for me. I can get good power and battery life from a single battery only slightly bigger than an 18650

Now that I’ve had both. To me it’s no comparison between the two. LiPo power is just different and to my personal liking..I still have my 30Ts and they are very good in my Stacked mechs.
What’s different about a Lipo. I’d kill a man for a chalet berserker but I feel like their claims can’t be right. At max output it’s drawing 80a

I was going to get the Berserker before I found Scarab... The difference in quality is very apparent in the way they are made, plus, you have the option of going with the PWM on some of the mods or the ever so infamous DNA250C board.. The biggest difference is the power the battery puts out..PWM mods can reach 1000 watts when cranked up,, but only for those who do not like the looks of their face and want to reconfigure..
The power is constant..

Can the scarab put out more when in pwm mode? The dna250c is capped at 400watts in 4 cell mode.

I need to do some more research into pwm. are they able to put out more power then an equivalent 18650 cell? 1000 Watts is still over 80a per cell in a 3s series.

PWM's always put out the current voltage that the cell has. They don't buck or boost voltage, the variable control allows you to adjust the on/off (Pulse Width) of the output.

Big Als PWM boards will put out 1100W in a 6S configuration which is only 50A of draw from the LiPo.

I got mail. Checks. Not particularly exciting I must say. I think the last time I ordered (or used) checks was over a decade ago, I mean, at least from my personal not household account. I might use some out and about for fun like at Dollar General to see what happens only I bet everyone involved would be less friendly about it. I had to get them for direct deposit at my work. I really think a bank and routing number ought to do it, but it's not my call, apparently.

The great scourge of the closet has taken place, plus the assembly of 14 outfits suitable for work, it's been a bit hard to even remember what "business casual" looks like, but true to my teaching of my kid, "You need 14 outfits at the ready! 14, so you can wash as you go!" (plus, if a chick, guys have this so much easier in my opinion you also need backup things so you can mix and match and pretend you have a billion things in your closet) although I do have Many Clothes there so thankfully I don't have to BUY anything, shinyitis of the clothes kind of exited as my 40s arrived, along with my shoe addiction. Although I wouldn't mind a pair of brown danscos but that's just sanity otherwise you have to mix brown and black ALL the time (those are my clothing rules, not brown everything except shoes). Also, those are the only shoes I care to wear at all, so not bending on THAT,.

Last time I went clothes shopping (my mom was here) I had to pretend to like something so that she would like stop. I have yet to wear my Sherpa pants. Maybe to work, AFTER my probation period.

I'm tired but my closet actually has way more space for vape related items, now. Hope your mail is shiny and your vapes are delightful.

Anna

I'm a little bummed today because the button mechanism on my Dreamer failed and I can't get a reply from anyone including all three Timesvape entities or Stan about how to get it fixed. I've only had it about four months and it's never been out of the house or abused in any way. It started misfiring a couple of days back and the button housing was getting hot. I took it apart and found that the spring/coil ring that makes contact with the firing pin had failed. I don't even care if they replace it for free. I just want it fixed. pffft Kinda wrecking my buzz, today. /rant

Corroded/broken coil thing ^^

I think I need to order some new shiny to take my mind off of it.

It does... it is powered by duty cycles meaning it fires a selected amount of times.. My suggestion if you would like to learn more about it, is to do a search as there is a wealth of information on it...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was just defective plating on the part and the fix will be simple. It's just odd that I've reached out to multiple contacts over a couple of days and haven't received a response yet. That's pretty lame, IMO.

It's also the size of a small mini-fridge... I knew TrollDragon would be much better versed in explaining.. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Isn't there a mid-west vape expo this week? He might be there.. I know I've reached out in the past when he has stuff going on and it's taken a few days to get back with me..

@TrollDragon Just tried going to BigAlsmod.com and his site is down...
He had mentioned on the FB group that he was migrating to a new host this week and would still take orders through PM. Give it a day or two and it should be back up again.
