Not quite. There's RDAs that lean more towards dripping and RDAs that lean more towards squonking. Like I said earlier there's RDAs with a juice well as big as some tank atomizers, you can easily vape at least 10 minutes on that before dripping again (and with drip I mean dump your liquid in there). The Recurve to me is the archetype of a squonk RDA, very small juice wells, the size of the points of your wick. You'll drip every few drags and have to be careful to not overdrip.

well yeah, but i mean at the same time if the higher quality RDA is a squonk oriented RDA, i can still drip, it would be inconvenient but it can still be done, so basically what i am thinking is get a nice RDA that is squonk capable, but drip with it for the first bit? idk if this makes sense to anyone else or not....

I was talking about just the Recurve. The other smaller RDAs that were suggested have a bit larger juice wells. The Recurve really shines at squonking but won't be too much fun dripping on. Every other of the smaller RDAs can take more juice than the Recurve, some considerably more.
I wasn't trying to steer you away from smaller RDAs that are good for squonking, just saying the Recurve maybe isn't the best of those to drip.

okay, it would be annoyingly repetitive then is basically what you are getting at lol, drip every 3 puffs type thing

It depends what you are looking for in an RDA. There are many options out there and many are of good quality. There are squonk attys that fill from the bottom as well as those that pour over the coils. I have both types. I like the pour over types but for beginners I would suggestions that fills from the bottom. Extra juice gets sucked back down into the bottle on the bottom fill type. I am really happy with my Asmodus/Vapeporn Vault. It can be built as a clamp type or velocity. It is really compact and has great flavor. High quality as well.

A bit pricey but it is a good RDA
It's not that pricey for a good RDA (the better ones usually start at $60-$70) and it'll last a long time, extra points for being versatile.
Won't burn through your vape budget as long as you don't buy one every month... but who am I kidding

This might seem like a silly reminder, but if you get an RDA with a squonk pin, check if the regular or squonk is in place before you use it as a dripper. Some like the Profile come with the squonk pin already mounted. If you start dripping on that, well, it will make for a puddle. I don't think it's a common problem, but it's worth mentioning.

idk why but i always go for black mods and black tanks..... i guess it matches my clothes so i subconsciously buy all black, if i get a Drop Dead im getting it in purple and then when i get my squonk mod im going to try to find purple as well. i know the Pulse X and the 80W have purple replacement plates available
The topside comes in purple, soon lol.
It's basically the easiest refill single cell squonker out. Love my black and will get a blue in the future.

Reading this thread lately makes me feel like a vaping dinosaur. Things change fast these days. Only yesterday I was learning how to rebuild PT heads. Now I don't know what people are talking about.

Yesterday I got a couple of Picos to put in the tub under the bed, and I'm waiting for a bottle of nic that's out for delivery.

For the money it is a good one. Everything is nice and tight, bottom fill with deep juice wells. SAF a little above half way up. It is built to last. The finish on my black one isn't the greatest and scratches pretty easily but that's my only gripe.

Bosch is filming in LA right now. I’d love to see that, even though it means being in the midst of so many people lol.

I never did re do any of my tanks. Sick all week. But I did finally swap out the coil on the mesh pro. Then I thought I’d get some more coils, but I found them at $21 a box! What! I know I didn’t pay that much last time, can’t remember where I got them.
Fasttech has the triple for $10.96 for a 3 pack.
