Making it amphibious, installing anti-tank rockets, self-sealing batteries if punctured, etc..............
Seeing how they can already talk, use light signals and read hand gestures it's probably just a matter of 2 weeks until smok throws one on the market.

I don't think the FDA, (and a few other alphabet agencies) will look too kindly on mods equipped with armament coming from China.
Just a guess..........

Good afternoon Shinies,

It's a wet day in Cumbria. Which explains why Royal Mail hasn't delivered my packet of shiny yet. When the sun shines, sometimes even 2nd class mail gets delivered early.

Being too mean to pay for express postage, when I got the shipped notification early yesterday morning I was optimistic having hit the midday collection that I might see some action today. No such luck. Possibly tomorrow. Or not as the case may be.

Thanks @Rangertrix for the info on the wicking. It's hard to explain without a closeup photo, the wick touches the bottom of the well and the 3 sides, but is not so packed in that it completely fills the well. There is still a slight 1mm or so gap on the horizontal plane at the bottom. So far so good today, no major leaks and I only have the the very slightest trace of juice on the airflow adjustment ring - no more than on the stock coil, so that's a relief. If the o-ring holding the glass had gone, I'd be up a creek without a paddle as I don't have a spare.

Can't get over how good TC mode is. On day 2 with the same 21700's, 50% power left. Vaping experience is extremely consistent as you would expect, just need to work on the flavour now. Don't think I'll ever get the same intensity as with a dripper, but as I'm now running at 50% airflow, and it is a definite improvement over wide open. With the stock coils there was just far too much cotton to do that. If anyone has not tried TC, I'd really recommend it, although it does limit your coil choices. I'm lucky though, the Reuleaux has very good TC although I didn't buy it for that.

I've described you the process, I've linked you a video showing the process but I can't understand it for you, you'll have to do that yourself.

LOL - can I add this to my personal quotes list? When Windows 3.11 first came out I rolled out a huge install at a French site. Despite my non-existent French, I managed to explain to everyone how to log on, use the mouse and launch applications etc. with one exception. There was one individual who turned the mouse over in their hand and used it as a trackerball. I tried everything, even enlisting an interpreter to no avail. What was so funny was the old Microsoft mice had a large gap inside the body, inverting it would decouple the ball from the rollers, so maybe only a random 10% of the ball rotation was actually translated into cursor movement.

Those were the days ;).

Ive got the Bertha V2..$600.00 is the retail price on their site.. Do you know of one cheaper elsewhere?

Just looking around the net and I have no idea what that 8000mAh 4S 16.8V battery would be... You could get a 5000 mAh 5S and all the bits to put a PWM mod together for $150, the major problem is the enclosure. The one they use is custom printed so you would have to do the same as there are no off the shelf enclosures that big. When you look at it $600 for a mod of that size and spec is quite something.

Not for me though, I'd be quite happy with an Alpinetech N1 enclosure, Big Al PWM board (his new one with the OLED screen) and a 4S LiPo... I don't require that much power. :D

I remember quite a while back @Rixsta had an x000mAh DNA 250? custom built, it was a beast but I don't know what it was worth, nice looking rig though.

For total madness , here is a Craver from Kuwait with his Dual 8000mAh LiPo box...
That's the 41mm Titan on it. :w00t:

The only issue might come when you refill it.
A lot of times if your wick is borderline (wells not completely full), it won't leak while using it, but will dump from the pressure of putting the top cap back on after refilling.

I keep hearing iffy stuff about element vape... have you ordered from them? A couple people here steered me away from them

I’ve ordered a lot of mods and atties from Element inc the SL Class. I’ve never had an issue. The one time I contacted them they responded in 4 hours.

OK shinies.....
The aforementioned individual has asked me if the Wasp Nano or the Ammit MTL would be better for a flavor chaser wanting a restricted lung type vape.
As I don't own and haven't used either one, I thought I would ask your opinions.
He wants to use it on a single battery mech squonker.

I thought maybe the Ammit MTL as he squonked right in front of me and over did it.

The Ammit MTL is advertised as leak proof so if he has to go up on a crane then yeah, that one.

Wasp is nice, dirt cheap and easy to build, imo it's best with a 510 driptip (especially if oversquonking). He may also need to sand/break the edges of the airflow holes in the cap to reduce the possibility of a whistle (on some airflow settings).
