I spoke with the boss and she told me to just buy the expensive things I will like rather than a ton of useless things I won't.

Good plan. I bought a ton of clones and low end when I started to enter the "hobby phase". If I had it to do over, I would focus on a few higher quality devices rather than a table covered with stuff that didn't perform well or that I'd get bored with quickly. I guess I had to learn somehow. I'm still not shelling out 100 plus for high end attys, though. Gotta draw the line somewhere

I'm a bit bitter over the citadel.

I was looking for a hadaly and could only find the titanium special edition in Canada. With tax and shipping came out to over $200 CAD. F that noise. I bought a KRMA, which with tax and shipping was still almost $160 CAD. Then the day I got it, I got e-mails about the preorder for the Citadel. Jumping on it now for $100 CAD before I have to pay $200 CAD for the special edition because everything else sold out.

So broke now. Also found a guy with a new in box Entheon, but he's willing to wait for my next paycheque.

morning all.
the new not-at-all shiny. squid industries tac 21. been a winding road to get to my first squid mod. there were brushes with double barrels and other deals were almost done but not quite. here we have it.

2 x 30Ts (seem to have misplaced my 40Ts) and the blitz FP. there's a tiny bit of overhang as the FP is 30mm but really not enough to be an issue.
the mod...simple, powerful, well built and finished. hits hard. fumbled with the battery door cover for a short space of time but i'll get the hang of it. it's weighing in at 496g currently. like the button press system to lock, reverse the screen and go to bypass. one happy vaper.

Welcome to the Squid family . The first couple of battery changes, the door made me , but now it’s second nature. It’s an improvement over the DB slide cover, which really bothered some people. When the new DB with the same battery door as the Tac and Detonator drops, I’ll probably get one and pif one of my original DB’s. I think everyone should have one Squid. Or six

I have an Entheon that I never use. It's siting next to the Kryten I rarely use anymore and that one has dual coils going for it.

Ha, they're practically giving the Kryten away now. Did I get 75 bucks of use out of mine? Hard to say. Anyway, I had a look and the Entheon comes with the Hadaly cap/kit now for $65.50. That's not too bad at all.

MAN! There is nothing worse than spotting a bug that you don't know what it is, and you are half asleep and then you SEE it and you want to wake up the husband to deal with it buy you know... That's not smart, and then you are trying to figure out how best to kill it and you think it's a brown recluse but it turns out to be a giant fly.

OK there are worse things, I'm sure but my adrenaline was really unpleasant.

I am vaping like a pauper this morning a lot of my tanks need refilling I have a Procyon screw attachment thing that went under the couch which means I have like, 3 working filled vapes and we all know what happens when I move furniture man. So... ech.

I also cannot fill my tanks as the husband politely informed me that it was like nails on a chalk board for him when I do it too early, apparently I am "loud?"

I'd feel better about this request had he not forgotten his radio timer AGAIN meaning I was awoken this morning at 3 a.m. to the dulcet tones of new age music and I was like TURN THAT OFF ARGH and he was like, "I can't hear anything." It took me like 5 minutes to kill it and surprisingly I would up back asleep but that is still the suck. Etc.

Try a yard stick or broom handle to knock it out, unless your sofa is like mine, almost married to the carpet (low, no clearance).

How is it possible that an order to IMRBatteries received on Tuesday (placed on Saturday) won’t be delivered until Monday? Pony “Express” from Texas?

I know there’s limitations on what can be sent by air but it’s never taken this long before or from any other stores.

Next order will be placed from some place closer to home I guess.

Here in Canada we use Beavers instead of Pony’s. Little buggers can carry 4x their weight and they can swim!

Smok should start selling Smok branded helmets.

How is it possible that an order to IMRBatteries received on Tuesday (placed on Saturday) won’t be delivered until Monday? Pony “Express” from Texas?

I know there’s limitations on what can be sent by air but it’s never taken this long before or from any other stores.

Next order will be placed from some place closer to home I guess.

It took a week and a half for mine to get here last time I ordered. I often joke about Pony Express but sometimes I wonder if it is actually true.

Not defending Smok but that looks to be a Samsung charger it was plugged into. Some Samsung chargers have a very high output for fast charging. Even using a non Samsung cell phone with them you can feel the phone heat up. Many smartphone companies warn against this and stress to only use their approved charger or USB off a computer. The Smok device along with many others are designed to be used with regular USB, not a wall wort charger. I won’t rule out a defective mod but this looks more like neglect

You'd think like with any other consumer electronic, it just stops charging when it senses something is off.

Reminds me of what happened to why DotMods fell off the map. Their batteries drained slowly even when turned off - normally a mod will turn itself completely off and stop draining after a certain point.

The internal batteries overdrew and ballooned out. DashVapes lost something like 6k in inventory because of this. DotMods told them that he/customers were responsible for keeping it fully charged. Apparently they expected him to open up all the boxes and keep the battery levels topped off.

In both cases we can blame the consumer, but ultimately it's bad design.

I would like to remind you all that we use beaver .... gland juice for vanilla and raspberry flavourings, and it's also found in perfumes.

It's also used as an additive in some cigarettes.

It's a 'natural' ingredient and will show up as 'natural flavour' on the ingredient list of food items.

They ship by ground. It is 21.5 hours from here to Houston. Crazy thing is it takes longer to get through Texas than to get to Texas. It was kinda rough waiting for the 21700s. Now I am pretty set on batteries so if I have to wait a bit it's not a huge deal. Worth it for authentic, high quality batteries.

Yeah I figured it would be by truck but a week? Do 18650s go by truck to? These were 21700s.
