Canada Post issued a strike notice last night. Glad I stocked up 2L of juice and 3 RDAs before the strike could take effect.

For those of you living under a rock, some recreational drugs were made legal today in Canada. In the biggest province in the country the only way to purchase is online. A lot of those people are going to be mad if there's a strike and their ability to purchase gets pushed further back

Good morning all! The lack of YT was a bit disconcerting as I was trying to watch a Haze review video and couldn't. YT was probably doing me a favor. Still, I miss Zophie. I hope she heals up from her injury and can get back to turning out reviews soon. I like her snarky but still on the border of polite presentations. That, and she keeps me up to date on the latest hair colors favored by the young crowd.
YT was down?? shows that i don't watch things on it much. did watch the latest vaping with vic review last night but that must have been before any disruption.

That's going to be interesting on the Canada/US border. We also have elections coming up and I'm not sure what will happen when all of North Dakota has a contact high.

I suspect it will lead to the adoption of Poutine as the state dish of North Dakota and the possible opening of many 24 hour breakfast places.

Poutine, yummm. They do a Cajun version here, except it’s cheddar cheese and roast beef debris (the gravy with little bits of meat left after cooking a roast beef) I’m a sucker for anything with french fries though.

The classic poutine also uses cheddar.

White cheddar unpressed (so they're still full of whey) cheese curds.

I don't know why, but it seems like a misconception here. For some reason people don't think they use cheddar.

Here it’s just plain ol yellow cheese. Late night at bars, it’ll often be nacho cheese sauce. I prefer y’alls method

That sounds good!!!

There are no limits to Poutine. There is a scotch bar/pub I frequent here in Toronto and they do duck poutine that is to die for. But best Pountine on the planet, bar none, comes from Quebec!

I grew up on Quebec poutine sold out of the side of a mobile home. Those are the best!

Here are a couple of my best memory ones:

This one is where my mom and uncles and aunt went when they were kids. Still open!

This one is the one closest to my family. It's the one I usually go to. It used to have a couple mini putt things, at least they did when I was growing up:

And this one is the funniest one. They sell poutine and wash cars. When you wash your car it smells like poutine inside. When you go inside it smells like soap:

You live in one of my favorite cities to visit. Lots of wonderful food there. As an adult, there and Vancouver are the only two I’ve had the pleasure of visiting.Quebec is on my bucket list As a small child, we lived about 20 miles south of Saskatchewan, but no memories of that lol.

My favourite Toronto spot. We usually go for my girlfriend's birthday:

All you can eat steak? I'm down.

I’d kill for some decent cheese
If it makes you feel better, because of lactose issues for everyone but me in the house, there’s only vegan “cheese” in my fridge. But, at least I can get it at the store if I want some for myself.
