Good night shinies, I havent had time to hop on here in like 2 days, nothing new really. I'm still waiting on some glass for my smm. I added some things to some of my store wish lists. I have a squid double barrel 2.1 in my sights. It checks a few boxes off for me. Solid built, small, dual batt, vw. I considered diving into the mtl world to find a mate for the squid db if I ever buy one. I added a few tanks to look into along with a spool of superfine mtl clapton wire. I'm also considering my first mech tube in the future. I've never really seen the need for a mech, but why not eh? The tauren tube and rda caught my eye. Solid copper, decent looking switch, and not too pricey.

Has EM seen the new kittens yet?
Yes and she knew exactly what they were. She hasn't seen newborns so I was rather surprised by that. She wanted to stay in the closet with them, it was so cute. Some time this week I'll let her have a sniff so the kittens get used to her smell. Em will likely be the fur babies favorite toy eventually, she loves kittens.

Good morning all! A sorta rushed morning. Off to do a walkathon with my daughter for the foundation for suicide prevention. Then brunch and hang out. Unfortunately it's freaking cold today with high winds so I'm not too thrilled with the plans but will still go ahead.

@Letitia congrats on the new family members!

Man I am up way earlier than I wanted my stupid phone was preset for work alarm and I kept snoozing it instead of turning it off (like my new phone apart from this issue, which I am fairly sure I can FIX while awake) and I was having these horrible dreams about being kidnapped by terrorists so I finally gave up, and work up. Maybe for the best.

Mods, batteries juice all packed for transit, meaning I have fresh batteries, a charger, they are all topped up etc.

I still have too much to do, yesterday, while in some ways comforting just took forever. I don't know how I am going to get the rest of things DONE and drive up there (this will make DRIVE number day 7 in a ROW but at least I will be UP there then. Jeez.

The apartment. Well it is federally subsidized housing so I don't know what I expected but yesterday I spent HOURS photographing its deficiencies ( I am less fuzzy with my new phone) in case they want to ding me etc.

Shinies I will be buying today? Toaster, garbage can, dishrack cleaning supplies. It has this tiny oven from the late 60s not kidding .LOL. It is... Well it's pretty special, I freaked out when the lady mentioned bedbugs and had two "I will not bring bedbugs here." I encountered them in Costa rica once and I was like, "Okay, so if someone brings in bedbugs YOU will be replacing all MY stuff rite?"

The husband was a whiny child the whole time, then admitted that my concerns were "more." and my life was "harder." LOL.

So shiny shopping and packing but not the FUN kind, but if I make through today and do not forget something vital along the way, I should be ALL good .

I might by me a mod soon but I could actually be TOO busy.

Happy Sunday all. Keep hoping I will die of exhaustion but doesn't seem to be happening.

Good day all. Nothing extremely shiny to report. Did find a local store blowing out Pulse 80’s at half the price they usually go for. Will assume to make way for the new Pulse X. So picked up another to add to my collection. Hopefully the threat of rain holds off for I have plans to check out a few local stores and sample some juice.

Since the recent topics seem to be cats and suicide (not in the same topic) thought I’d share that Zelda, my current kitty, is named after the daughter of the late great Robin Williams (according to Wiki, Robin’s daughter was named after the video game, The Legend of Zelda.). Goes a bit deeper than that for a very good friend and mentor of mine who could pass as Robin Williams sibling and always acted in character much like Williams also took his own life many, many years ago. Zelda was adopted from a local shelter about a week after Robin Williams passed away. She was not my first choice but her proximity to the registration office meant she was the first cat I was introduced to. When they pulled her out of her cage, she crawled up my chest, buried her head in my neck and purred. I could not resist. As the saying goes, you pick a dog but a cat picks you. Zelda’s birthday is also a day after mine.

Below pic is the day I brought her home.

Smooth McGroove has a cat as well

:thumb: Named Charl.

My previous cat was named CLiFF – spelled exactly like that. Stands for… Cute, Little, Furry, F**ker. I gave him to a friend when I moved to New York to help rebuild after 9/11. I’ve lost contact with that person so no idea how CLiFF is doing, if he is even still alive.
