Correction on my above post. There are different versions of this battery you can look them up and compare here.
List of Battery Tests | E-Cigarette Forum

Ensure your battery is capable of the wattage you are requesting from it. See the below pic for recommended amps vs watts.

Before you swap coils, you could try cleaning the 510 on the mod and the atty really well to make sure you have a clean contact.
So I have cleaned the connection and dropped the wattage, see if that works, oh and btw its now reading the coil at .19 ohm, prior to disconnection of the atty it was at .28ohm

Although claimed to be a 40amp battery, Mooch’s estimates is around 20amps. I’d consider dropping your wattage to 60.

There's 4 prong and 5 prong. 5 prong is 30A from Mooch.

@lotodem I don't have a pulse x, so this might be wrong, but sometimes the actual deck and posts might not be connected tightly. You need to check the squonk pin and if the post has a pin, make sure that is tight too.

Not that I am aware of but it is best not to over stress a battery.
On a mech, yeah but the safety features on that Vandy chip should prevent it. .18 at 3.5V is just under 20A at 70W. Safer is always better, of course.

The above picture is from Mooch, just relaying the message. There is also two 5 prong versions, one with tabs and one without

I just checked all 4 of mine. All without tabs.

Thank you bullfrog vape, my favourite B&M. When I bought them asked what wattage I was going to use and went through to find only 5 prongs to sell me.

@lotodem I think you need to tell us exactly what wires and gauges are in your coil. We can manually calculate the resistance and compare it to your two different numbers. As mentioned previously, could be that it wasn't glowed and hot spots sorted out.

Washed out the squonk bottle of the Pulse 80 I just received. Updated the FW and threw in some fresh cotton into the Pulse X RDA. I now have a pseudo Pulse X kit with resin panels….no one could tell the difference! And it was cheaper! The Pulse 80 I just received came with the Fantastic Blue resin panels. My previous Pulse 80 has the Seaweed Green resin panels. Because Fantastic is better than Seaweed, obviously my new(er) Pulse 80/X works better, hits harder…..it is just FANTASTIC! That’s my shiny update for today. :D

Cool just check my 2, 5 prongs. But I usually never go above 60w anyways even on my .19 dual build. Bit of a ramp up but it never really bothered me. Still waiting on my Chinese smm glass....maybe next week I think. Oh! Got a shiny today. Picked up a stick prince kit and 4 30ml bottles from a coworker. 15 bucks, I gave him 20 for the hell of it. I also only had a 20 on me. He was misguided and led to buy that kit and didn't like it at all. I guided him towards a refillable pod system as it fit his needs the best. Hes looking for lots of nic quick to cut back on snuff. Romeo also wanted in the pic. How could I say no. The build I have in the obs nano engine is working great at whatever power this thing puts out.

Okay, going to rebuild now, and it doesn't jump rapidly or persistantly, its almost like I jolt my hand the wrong way and the coil comes loose and then falls back into place, almost like the atty is coming loose but it's not
That sounds like a lead isn't captured under the screw.
