So the power company just showed up and said my meter was sending odd intermittent outages on their end. Turns out one of the outside lines is possibly split; the meter is only registering half strength. There's hope I don't need a new fridge or an electrician for the bathroom lights. The day is getting better.

I do so wish they would eliminate the time change.

Nah, it's just some university studies showing it costs more and makes people sick for weeks that makes them debate if they will maybe stop the whole circus next year.

Coming from an Enterprise support perspective it does not take a genius to understand the cost behind time change. This will be one of the busiest times of the year for support. Some support teams actually plan contingencies around daylight savings time and will prepare for that time change months in advance.
