Better pics tomorrow. Been a long day, it's late and I'm tired. But it has arrived....

A rare REOS mods VV Stabilized Woodvil. The "wooden thing" is a voltage tester that screws into the 510 connector. Fully Functional, dead short and open circuit protected with a 15Watt Max cutoff. Heady stuff for a 2012 BuzzPro chip.

Ahhh voltage ... I thought you were just judging harshly, I mean, it looks like at least 7.5 or an 8 to me ;)

Vape Mail wasn’t delivered because the mail carrier didn’t want to walk up my plowed driveway I guess. I had two Amazon deliveries who had no problem. Oh well.

Anyways I bought a Lost Vape Mirage DNA 75C. I was looking for one awhile ago but they seem to be discontinued but someone included a link to some still available. And that my friends is why I should never come on this thread.

Said I was done on Jan 1. And in 21 days I’ve bought an Asmodus Minikin V2 Stabwood, an Asmodus Amighty 100, 2 Avecado 22s and a Peerless 24 RDTA.

Obviously I have an addictive personality issue. I have gone to meetings for things like this just not for vape devices lol!! I need my own group called Vape Gear Anonymous VGA :toast: !!

Btw can’t we get more emojis? I just saw a ton of cool ones on the South African forum. :vapor:

But you got stickers and a fidget right?

I got the fidget spinner but I didn’t see any stickers but really didn’t look through the packing materials. I think I’ll keep this spinner when I send this V2 back.

The rep said they must have had a problem with distribution. Ya think??? Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed in them. No real apology just a brief “thank you for your patience” on ONE of the numerous emails. The emails don’t even include the reps name. It just says Asmodus Distribution and Warranty Division - no name.

If it was my business I’d be bending over backwards apologizing and throw in something other than a fidget spinner.(I really like RDAs hint hint lol!) I mean this isn’t a $25 mod I’m buying. Oh well. I just expected more. I’m old fashioned.

So he sent you 4 18350 batteries for free that are of little utility but just so happens to have an 18350 tube coming up for sale in the near future?

Best marketing plan ever!!

Ended up working. I put my name in for the preorder notification, they opened up when I was in bed about to turn off my lamp. Ended up paying it in full.

$40 CAD of batteries in customer acquisition. The Mod was supposed to go in at $50 CAD but the price was dropped to $40 CAD and I got 10% off.

The batteries ended up being more valuable than the mod.

Now I just need to find a hybrid safe RTA that I can build for with my 10A budget and that's 24mm. I think the Gear RTA is in the lead. 10A gives me pretty much <40W. From what I remember, the Serpent SMM did pretty well at 35W and is 24mm. A stainless one could be in the running too, not sure if it's hybrid safe. Aesthetic would match as well.

Good morning shiners!

A 24 mm rta with a protruding pin sutible for a hybrid with a 10A cap. I guess the SMM could work. I just looked at the 510 and it seems to protrude ok. My experience is that you can get condensation in the air slots pretty easy and not sure how happy I'd be with that on a hybrid. Kinda true with any bottom air RTA but the air path on it seemed to favor some condensation more than others.

The new ORGF (whatever random sequence of letters) Gear rta has been getting good reports on flavor. It's short so reminds me of a small flavor rda. I don't have one so no idea on the 510 pin, but that could he another consideratio. And being so short it might look better on such a short tube. Also no idea how it will perform with a coil build appropriate for a 10A battery, but given the small chamber and almost no chimney there is no need for any fancy builds for good performance.

The Gear was what was suggested by the vendor but it's 25mm. Mod is 24mm. Feels like this is going to be a hassle.

The good news is the DayWon with beauty ring is 24mm. I have the ultra low profile clearcap so if I want to drip, I have the perfect option. But if i'm dripping, i'm generally at home. If i'm at home, i'm chain vaping. If i'm chain vaping, I don't think a 10A/1100mah 18350 will last very long. The kit does come with an extension for 18650 though, but that ruins the whole point of buying one for my 18350s.

Other option is the Tauren Honeycomb. Haven't used RTAs seriously in over a year, so i'm not sure if it's any good.

The size, colour, and build deck look perfect though:

I thought the Gear was 24. Yeah on such a small tube that'll be noticeable. Too bad as it checks off everything else. Glad you have another option with the DayWon, but I hear you. 1100 mAh isn't giving you much runtime. That's almost pod mod territory these days. You could just try the Gear and if it really looks bad just repurporse it for another setup. Hopefully someone else will have a better suggestion.

Just watched a review. 25mm at it's widest point, but the base is tapered to 24mm. Looks like we have a winner.

DayWon is going to look so great though. Compared to JK Mini (it's going to be an ultra short carry):

Also works great with high resistance round wire builds. I think I might try to aim for .55-.7... should give enough run time.

I thought it was 24. Simple round 0.7 ohm would be a perfect match. So you have two options. Obviously if you're going for small runaround then the RTA is the winner.

Besides, you now have 4 batteries for it and that size should be light in your pocket even in a plastic box.
