I wanted one of those years ago. I got into DL and mechanical mods and kind of forgot about them. Now that I have been dabbling with MTL a bit I have a renewed interest in them. Those can get quite expensive once you get into aftermarket parts. As for now, I am enjoying not building. I can get pods 2 for $8 which will last a month. The Orion has SS coils which is the only metal I like to use.

I feel like I am getting sucked back into the Volkswagen Rabbit rabbit hole. If that happens, there will be no more vape budget because pocket racecar...

Oh! Loved mine!!! Bought one at college and drove it everywhere. All of my friends drove exotics (and I could afford a Porsche 911 back then), but I loved my Rabbit. Then in Buenos Aires I had a Golf GTI MK4 for nearly 20 years. Now they're SOOOO expensive I can only afford to look at a Golf.

His was the last build I tried. I’m not having dry hits, gurgles, spit back or leaking with any wicking variation, so it does have that in its plus column. The af seems to be too much thru the tank, no matter how open or closed the af ring is.... very muted flavor to me. Next week I’ll disassemble it again. It’s WAY airier than the Elevate, more like my single coil dl tanks.

Compare the chamber hole of the intake (take of ya drip tip) with the elevate. I've been doing that with my attys. The elevate is about the same size as the doggy - maybe the intake is bigger there?

I only started vaping a year ago, but it's amazed me how far pods have come in even that short time - better battery life, replaceable coils instead of replaceable pods, larger capacity etc. I figure rba pods will be next, judging by how popular rbas are.

Enough thoughtfulness from me (that is your monthly quota) ;)

@NolaMel Use a sledgehammer on the intake :w00t:
I would, but I spent somewhere @ $25-30 on the pisser. From every freaking review, it shouldn’t be this airy!! Which makes me think it’s my build. Or, all reviewers are lying dogs, in cohoots to get me the rashly spend money. Well, not that I wouldn’t anyway, but, don’t totally mislead me!

The air intakes are big, just to look at the tubes you could tell! Oh, well, maybe PIF?

Ok I caught up, sorry for the delay we were watching a movie.
I wont go back and quote lol (just lazy)
Nic salts just didnt work for me, it's hard to describe. Maybe because of using freebase for ao long? Someone locally mentioned it may be the acid they use in the salts I'm sensitive to. The exact acid escapes me though.

The nord I like alot more than I thought I would. The .6 mesh coil has good flavor and surprisingly good vapor production. For a tiny device I mean. Actually have bought a second one and 2 packs of coils. The first coil lasted like a week and a half. However that was with a juice that I picked up at a b&m so its sugary.

I think that was all I saw directed at me, if not yell at me and I'll answer.;)

Benzoic acid in nic salts, that's what I was told I may be sensitive to.

Do pods only work with nic salts?

I just won a nord, looking forward to using the mesh coil in it - glad to see they last a while ;)

I've been loving my Minikin V2 for 2 years now, although it's reaching it's end of life. It's too expensive here, I don't think I'll be able to afford one.
What took you guys so long????

price. .. there has been a recent price drop..

I'd keep trying builds til you find the right one. @Letitia will know how to make it behave (probably with a whip)

Nah, they are completely ambinicotinous ;) I just use normal nicotine diy ejuice in mine
ambinicotinous? Not sure if I should salute or run away, so I'll just say thanks.

Oh, and ask another question. I didn't realize you could refill a pod, so that's good to know. Do they refill as easily as other attys?

ETA: Which pod do you use?

Stop it! Now I want milanesas with mashed potatoes... It's so hot I'll die of a heart attack...

Coincidentally, the new masher is also suitable for pounding meat.

And now I have an idea for that boneless turkey breast I have in my freezer.

Run away as ambinicotinous is purely my creation ;)

Yep, it's just a matter of popping the pod off, turning it upside, opening the fill port and Bob is your uncle :thumb:

    Not all pods are refillable.
Nord, Orion and the like are.
Juul etc are not, atleast not easily lol.

When I was first buying RTA's and getting into building I learned early on not to listen to anyone.

Trustworthy prrson A would say oh this is an airy RTA so I'd buy it and it's like sucking a milkshake through a coffee stirer..

But over to trustworthy person B and they would say oh this is a nice tight draw and it slams vapor directly into your lungs with the force of a Mack truck..

Air is so subjective I couldn't trust anyone on what was good. I literally bought DOZENS of crap RTA's on others people's say so....

It wasn't until the Hastur came out that I learned more of what I needed for airflow as far as various diameter sizes etc. It's been a lot easier since..
