-5 this morning, and no frozen pipes! I’ll be glad to see normal temps again. Even with all the ventless gas heaters blasting, my furnace has not stopped running. I’m scared to think what the gas bill is going to look like.
I have electrical heat floors. Since it's a small house, it was cheaper to run and to mantain. I lived with a gas furnace for 40 years and I was always unhappy and cold. My electricity bill in the winter is around 2000 Kw, including dishwasher and clothes dryer. Not bad at all. But depends on your home, if it's all wood it won't be as efficient.

Same here. My dogs are small. I put coats on them to go out, but they’re limping coming in. And their poor ears! I only put them out twice yesterday, then I made them use potty pads.
The frenchies are specially very susceptible to cold. My own dog, even in much higher temps, barely goes, does his business and gets in. Today he's in the sun, belly up!

Today after 5 long days of 100 temps today we're in the high 70s... It's nice to be without air conditioning, not very fond of it!
Yes! I get to hate aircon after awhile, seems like after awhile you cant escape it. I open the house up in the morning and at night to catch any cool breeze I can to cool the house down so I dont have to use the aircon if possible. Sitting out side at night is nice but sleeping indoors can be less than restful. The dogs are crashed out in their sand pit right now, its really nice and cool for them in there, I feel like joining them.

I have one in the White Deity & I love it. I did the firmware update it was a pain though. But @SnapDragon NY wasnt as lucky she has been using hers happily since Nov. but all of a sudden the batteries started draining dangerously low while at rest.

Why on earth did I think today was friday??? Ordering the Intake for tomorrow!!!
Elevate and intake are the only two rta's I didn't pack away after today's shoot out. Down from 14 dl and rdl rta's to 2 tough little all rounders.
Looking for new stuff now ;)

oh and i forgot to mention earlier...when i turn the heating on my gas stove stops working.
so it was either warmth or the BBQ beans i was cooking. the beans took it and are delicious. eating strong mints to keep warm as a pudding. hardcore, aye?
Sorry to bring this up,if it is a sore subject.

So, no update and batteries can drain? Hmmm, I think I'll give it a go anyway! Thanks!

I also was between the two but I don't want to spend all of my money in one swoop. Besides the Elevate was only available in black and I always have a hard time seeing liquid level without glasses in low light. Will wait until it comes in black, hopefully soon.

I find them both similar enough and different enough to keep them as my two daily out and abouts.
Neither leak, I find them both easy to wick and both have good but different flavor characteristics.
I like the draw sound of the the intake better.... The sound of the draw of an atty is a bigger deal to me than it should be.
