Hey all.

Having a fruit riot today. Truckload of juice on the way. Other than that, nothing too exciting. I'm considering a 28mm CCI Strife rda for my Purge B2B V4. The extra barrels are a bit gimmicky but I like the deck a lot.

Comes with a clamp option and extra screws for a Twisted Messes style setup.

How did you fix the problem?
Sarah at JAC Vapour walked me through changing the settings, which got me into wattage mode. She then had me reboot the mod and install the latest service packs to see if that would change the adjustment increment. It didn't, but the lovely Series-B fans here pointed me to the area in Escribe where I could make changes. All eight profiles had the adjustment increment set to .1, so I downloaded one of them and, voilà! problem solved.

What's weird is that JACs are supposed to arrive in wattage mode with a .1W adjustment increment. No idea why mine didn't. Another mystery to add to the pile.

And today in As The Mod Turns...

So I heard back from element vape after I sent them pictures of my invoice and all the stuff I got in the package. They emailed me a tracking number, and their unvoice says they’re sending a pod and another mini mi.

I was really clear in all emails that all I was missing was one pod. I probably should have just let it slide for all that trouble. They’re $3 ya know? Oh well. They want to send me another mini mi I’m not gonna fuss.

So then I called Asmodus. I got the same guy who I dealt with over the fried board. He says send it back, he’ll upgrade me to a Lustro Kodama for$25 more. I’m in. Brass and green. Wish me luck! I’m actually pretty psyched about that, although I’ll never find an atty to match.

The green and brass will look amazing together. One of my favorite color combos. My Kodama is Gold with a gold Voluna 2 and it looks great. They are both brushed finish and it looks quite classy

Just ordered mine too. Can't beat 25% off. I asked Albert to include it in the shipping for my Cthulu tube to save on shipping, but not sure when those are shipping out.

For anyone interested in the Cthulu tube, this French guy has a video out. I don't know why but for whatever reason he always has his reviews out pretty early. If you don't understand, you can always just look at how it's put together. He's actually grown on me, my favourite French reviewer.

I like that a lot. 18350/18650, reminds me of the old school mech mods. Looks super clean.

I'm excited for mine. I generally use tubes only at my desk, but here's some thoughts he had:

[18:55] The mosfet continues firing for half a second after you release the button (shown at 19:23). He says it isn't a safety issue, but because it's not expected it makes you cough. The actual performance is pretty decent though, hits as it should. He's using a 0.20 coil on a 18650.

[22:40] There is no on/off mode. The mosfet just fires anytime you click it. It's a very small and sensitive fire button. It can fire in your pocket or even just sitting on its side on your desk.

[Mentioned earlier in the video before he gets into it] The lock works by turning the latch at the bottom. All it does it add a gap between the battery and the contacts making the battery rattle when you hold it and never touching both at the same time.

[25:40] He says this twisting mechanism may not good for the battery, constantly squeezing and unsqueezing the battery. But also, it's hard to screw and unscrew the lock. It's stiff and sometimes when trying to turn it you end up just unscrewing the entire base.

Pros
+ Beautiful
+ Insulator rings
+ Performance (i.e. how hard it hits)
+ 18350/18650 support

Cons
- MOSFET continues firing after release
- No On/Off
- Locking mechanism is stiff

I'd add that the locking mechanism could probably get really loose eventually and may tighten itself as it rattles around in your bag or pocket, causing it to autofire.

Thanks for the clarification. Don't really like how the locking mechanism sounds. Does it have a 10 sec. cutoff? I love how it looks, and I saw the pre order. I think I will wait to see how it goes with this one.

No cut off as far as it sounded. You touch the button, it fires. That's it.
