My story has a very sad part. When I was sent to the pain management center, it was easy to see what I would turn into if I continued just from the waiting room. Grown people crying and claiming their dog ate their medicine and please please give me some more. There were signs all over "we do not care what your excuse is, do not ask for more" Scary.
Because I was in real pain and knew in about 10 years it would be worse, I talked myself into going to the clinic, getting my prescription, filling it at the pharmacy and then stock piling it for the day I really needed it. We are not talking about Tramadol, mild in comparison. I was getting 60-90 Oxycontin as month, with another 60 Vicodin for break through pain.
When my stash was more than 10-12 filled scripts I stopped and told the DR I was detoxing. He argued with me about why I should not. Scary again.
The sad part comes in here. I was not hiding them well. Under my sink in my own bathroom in a cosmetic bag or something. Once I stopped I had no reason to check on them or go into the bag. About a year later I discovered the bag was empty. This was at the same time had been fighting with my daughter about strange behavior and her seeming to be on drugs. She did not not live with me but had access to my home. I did not see her a lot, maybe 1-2 times a month. So yes folks, I supplied my daughter (unknowingly, but STILL) and she eventually turned to the H word. I spent 10 years trying to get her off. I could not do the tough love I was being taught in al-anon because there was that factor. I had caused it.
Stocking meds can be a double sword. Even diabetes meds (not only insulin but also metformin) can kill someone that confuses them. Just last week I learned from an elderly man that had confused his metformin with ...... (both bright blue colored). And had dutifully taken 2 ...... a day for months. He died from it as you can imagine, and his children that didn't live with him were in anguish about that. Unfortunately it's heart wrenching and extremely difficult to live with.
To make matters even worse, I get my slow release insulin in one time, once a year. Keeping that in the fridge is hard to keep an eye on. Yet, even if I don't use it, I check constantly. 60 units could kill someone. And I keep needles as far away as possible, to avoid anybody misusing them.
I feel for you, any addiction is hard to deal with, and you have the right to your meds. But keep them under lock, even if there's no one else in the house. All the time.

It is now snowing in Cumbria. We've got a couple of inches. Nothing much by American or Canadian standards, but we have lots of really steep hills. If it lays, or snows more during the night, tomorrow will be interesting from a transport perspective.

Nighty night.
How often does it snow? Is it highly unusual?

Pretty sure you could do a single coil build in it without too much trouble if dual isn't cutting it for you. I think one of the reviewers I watched built it that way. Can't recall which. The inner chamber on it looks small enough not to mute the flavor too much with a single.

It does look like a very small rounded chamber. I’ll give it a shot but I usually prefer using 2 coils in an atty if that’s how the air flow was designed for. I’ll have plenty of opportunity to experiment I guess!!

I'm liking the looks of the Wasp Nano RTA. I think a clear one would look pretty dope on my Trinity U.S.1.

Jai just about lost his mind over it, ha. Pretty entertaining.

Another one for the list! I hope it gets here fast! I'm not buying any more mods, mind ya!

I thought that was pre sale? It’s early though, I could be wrong. I got the rainbow because I dig that green cap. It’ll work with the green Colossal for sure, and maybe the Lustro.

Good morning Shiners! Not nearly as much snow as predicted, and it's above freezing today so it'll just be a slushy mess, but nothing to delay stuff. My daughter was less than pleased as last night she thought she might miss an important exam today, but looks like it's on. She's happy to get it out of the way rather than deal with a delay and have to prepare a second time.

well I no longer have my meds as she devoured them all. This was almost 10 years ago and the pain has not taken me under yet (As I suspected). I have herniated and ruptured discs in my back. So far I am alright with Chiropractic care and Celebrex. I retired last year at 59 and life is manageable without any narcotics. Thank you God.

We get snow on the mountains frequently, but it doesn't normally lie as we are very close to the coast. Every couple of years or so it is bad, worse was about 10 years ago when some roads were impassable.

We are more prone to floods up here. Mrs OG wrote a car off a few years ago. The engine and the inside was spotless though. We thought the road was passable, it wasn't until the water came up to the windows we realised the road dipped down :(.

Reminds me of about 15 years ago. Had a family reunion at my brother’s house in MO. He and I went somewhere and, in a hurry to get back, he took his little car ( can’t remember what it was, just small) off road and drove through a creek bigger than the river by me.

“Hasn’t rained in a while, should be fine... but don’t tell mom!”

Which was hilarious because at the time, I was 40, he was 50, but we did still have to worry what mom would say.

It was fine, he held the door open to watch how deep it was, and a wee bit came in, but we made it no problems.
