Indeed it does, also gives you 8 Profiles and allows to load wire CSV files.
NFE Team

Knew about the profiles. Briefly looked into it in the past but there are just no compatible devices that I am interested in. But it plays into my earlier comment on having the tools to allow you to view how your coil is performing in real time.

Good point.. but what I'm saying is that it's removing the learning curve as a result, by refusing to work etc.

I'm new to squonking, I squeeze my bottle and I vape a couple times, third hit is dry, even after squonking.

I can learn from that experience..

But in TC it would prevent me from learning how hard to squeeze, how much cotton needs to be in the coil, how long I should wait for wicking to occur.. etc etc etc.. aka, removing the curve.

When the machine is thinking for you, your not.
I understand where you are going. ;)

I'm glad you found at least one thing useful from the Layercake

I laughed. I love those trip dips.

Going to milk the layercake for instatweet uplikes soon. You have to give it to her though, she is pretty. She's just not the kind of girl you would want to be in a relationship with.

I had 5 of those drip tips. I broke my last one a few days ago trying to see if the extended drip tip that comes with the Drop would fit inside it. Shattered into 3 pieces.

I have been a TC dilettante from time to time. I'm not super good at it. With that said, I am a MTL vaper, and I think that's harder. The truth is, it's probably that I just suck at it.

IDK gonna give the LVM a good old college try if anything can make me love TC, it's probably that.

I don't know if it's placebo or what, but my few DNA devices seem to give better vape in wattage, so even if I fail hard, I won't be sorry. Etc.

Also, I would take eleventy million bears and coyotes and even a SNAKE over those giant flying cockroaches. They have to be seen (in your home) to be believed.

I killed ONE and I think it was because the husband was away overnight and I was like "That thing and I cannot coexist in the same HOUSE.)

It was an epic battle with the flyswatter and the whole time I was like "that half dead thing is going to drop from the ceiling into my HAIR and like I will die."

Also... they are meaty. It's not like swatting SOME things. They have a hard exoskeleton and just a juicy, gross interior. If that's what remains after the nuclear winter I am not sure I am going to bother with a BUNKER.

I will catch snakes, alligators, spiders, possums, rats, mice... pretty much everything.

But if I see a roach in the house I can't go in that room until my wife proves to me that she's killed it. My kids know if they see one not to tell daddy. I can't explain it, just sitting here talking about them makes me shudder.
Maybe this will change your mind:

If a build does not vape perfectly in VW mode then don't even bother trying to get TC running on it. Proper wicking is a must, you should be able to chain vape in VW (within reason) without it dry hitting. TC relies upon the coil being properly saturated, as it dries out the power is throttled to protect against a dry hit. If you are getting dry hits on an RTA in VW mode then it's not built correctly.

Also the device plays a major role in TC success, products from Smok, iJoy, Sigelei etc do not work properly in TC (iJoy especially) and will be an exercise in futility. Those companies include a TC function only to boost sales and are usually the result of a failed experience trying TC for the first time.

TC does take some tweaking to get working, SS316L wire can have a Nickle composition of anywhere between 10 - 14% and still be called SS316L. This will change the TCR value and alter the vape experience. SS wire is different across manufacturers which is why a default mod preset of SS316L rarely works perfectly.

I can vape in TC and have it exactly the same as a VW vape with dry hit prevention in RDAs as well as vape consistency in RTAs. But it all depends on the build, device and fine tuning so YMMV. ;)

Sorry, didn’t mean to red X you!

Agree about the build. I thought that was my imagination so thanks for validation. I started using RTAs in vw and improper building/wicking was a challenge - I still goof, but I know what I did wrong now, after making all the mistakes - which can manifest in many ways, not just dry hits. So I guess I don’t rely on TC to prevent those, like some do.

For me, I seem to get a more consistent vape and that’s why I use it. Tuned properly the flavor is better as well.

I put some effort into getting what I wanted from it so I’m surprised I like the Luna as much as I do, lol, but I guess that means I learned how to build to my preferences.

Sunday is usually when I redo my atties, and I want to play with the plain round wire again, and see what happens. I’ve got a little of everything but I kind of got stuck on that fused Clapton and haven’t really worked with the others since.
