I'm not a girly girl either. It was kind of a "missing link" type of thing, I had to beg my mom for my first BRA and like, there was all this discussion of "you don't need one" and me saying "I am getting teased in PE ever DAY Mom."

I THINK my mom actually made my DAD accompany me for that purchase, but it was better than getting teased in PE all the time. Similarly, I had to beg for deodorant when the time was ripe, so to speak.

Also. Barbies were BANNED. My aunt got me one on the sly for Christmas but then my older brother beheaded it. He was not punished.

While my mom taught me many things, makeup application was not one of them. I had a girly sponsee who like, taught me that stuff. LOL. I was getting MARRIED, so she was super impressed with my Sephora purchase but I was getting MARRIED and the first makeup lady turned me into a CLOWN "for the pictures."

You'd think this made me super dang girly but I'm like eh, mascara and some sheer mineral powder is what you are going to "get" if you "get" anything. I actually think it looks nicer than a ton of makeup. I like to look super hot, occasionally, but mainly for the husband so he gets to "show me off" so to speak. I have few outfits for that.

You can go overboard though. One time I was wearing a super short skirt, these platform shoes, and well, I was tarted up. We went to an AA meeting before the date and some old guy took me aside and whispered, "You never have to do that anymore young lady if you keep coming here." I was like, "Sir I am on A date," and he was like, "Uh huh."

I did not know whether to be amused. or really insulted. LOL.

I was SO RELIEVED to have a boy though I was like "What if I get a girly girl I will not know how to HELP her.'

I did go through a major shoe phase but I'm over that addiction. I think.

Oh! That reminds me I have to buy my grey and brown Danscos. Sigh. This is getting to be quite a "buy the internet" to do list.

I wish I DID own ALL the internet, I would have great plans on how to return it to Awesome.

I would also ban all social media. YES ALL of it besides the useful stuff.

Anna

You are not allowed to ban twitter. As awful as it can be, that’s the only way I have to flirt with Titus Welliver. Especially now, when Bosch isn’t filming, and and his face is fabulously furry.

I think some women call pull off more make up than others. My best friend in school was really good at it, hair too. I never had the gift, but also, it doesn’t look good on me. Mineral powder and mascara are my thing, too, but even those I’m just now mastering lol. Thanks to my daughter- who’s a natural make up artist- and tutorials from Bare Mineral.

I’m not even embarrassed to admit that, that’s how not girly I am lol.

My husband was okay with that fortunately, and I guess it was in part because high maintenance girls are costly, and he was pretty frugal.

I don’t understand guys who always go for that super model looking chick, and then complain about the time and money that look takes to achieve. Why I go for guys who aren’t crazy well-groomed is, I couldn’t abide a man who spent more time shopping and primping than I do LOL.

I won a squonker and I wasn't impressed and it was probably a far nicer one than the pico if that helps at all.

I would suggest trying one first, if that helps at all.

I don't know that "every vaper needs a squonk" they have their place but they're just not for me.

Trying my hardest here :D

That was the start of the problem, I tried two! Thanks all for the 99% useless replies :):)

If you tried it and like it then why not have a squonker or two?

If cost, then don't... you don't have to do everything just because it's nice. There's lots of nice things I neither do nor have and it doesn't bother me any because there are far more important things in life..

But if it's just an inability to justify it well... we can justify anything if we want to. If your able to justify it then you want it... if your unable to find the justification for it then you just don't want it very badly now do you?

I think sometime folks are confused about our mission here. They think we’re going to help them break the shopping addiction. But in reality, we’re here to support your quest for all things shiny. ;)

Nah, I'm clear about the focus of the thread. You're all pro-sales people hiding behind forum avatars 8)

@Opinionated Your logic is impeccable. I'm a frivolous, tongue in cheek kind of fellow on Sundays, but boringly analytical during the week, out of necessity. ;)

Indeed. We are here (buy now) to provide (it's ok) our full support (want = need) for our fellow vapers struggling (it's really an investment) with their very real (you deserve it) and unique shiny afflictions. (sure you could live without it, but why would you want to?).

My Mod matches my mixer. The cupcakes not so much. I swear I did not match the mod to the mixer. I was shooting for matching to the fridge and dishwasherView attachment 809201
Mine matches nothing. Himself gave me a bright blue one our first Christmas (1987). It’s never matched anything in the kitchen but my eyes, but I still keep it on the counter. You’ll find it indispensable. If it makes you feel better, the dt sort of matches the cupcake paper ;)

Just order a topside and the goat, not really rebuilding and the 10ml on the topside with the top refill simplifies life.

If it helps, that’s how I somehow ended up with 4. After swearing I would never own a squonker, even to the point of making a bet with someone I wouldn’t. This place is DANGEROUS. Also said, no dual battery mods, never going to build an rta and certainly not ever drip, and no way I’ll ever diy juice. Welllll.... we know how that all turned out

There is a tangerine Artisan in the kitchen here with stainless and glass mixing bowls.

You think Billet Box accessories are expensive, wait till you start pricing Kitchen Aid attachments... ;)

The Lustro and Berserker order is sitting in Halifax, hopefully it will make tonight's truck to the willy wags.

In the meantime, it's a B2K squonk day at the shop. :D
