morning all.
a wee hello and a slight catch-up.
couple of shinies in arriving in the next couple of days. the sxmini SL class and the true rta (which i've gotten some kanthal 28awg to get a 1.8 ohm coil going).
have just quit one of my jobs. it feels good for the moment.
right...i'm off before something eye-catchingly shiny appears. the frugal must continue.

Happy late morning shiners :)

Had been expecting my billet box today but the only thing that turned up so far is my accessories which I bought from a UK website. I've got my lovely resin replacement panels for my BB but no BB......as yet :)

When I order 100 15ml bottles it was 3.80 I think, 100 30ml unicorns it was right around 5.00.

I just found the email. I got 100 unicorns and 100 pipettes $9.26 shipping.

It’s hard to find non- childproof bottles with out tamper evidence anywhere that you don’t have to buy $100 for free shipping, and I do not need $100 worth of any of that right now lol. But yeah, dang it, I paid a lot more shipping for those stupid pipettes. Oh well. Thinking of all the money I save making my juice :)

Good morning shinies! Have a shiny day. I got zero desire to go to work, must mean I am adjusting. LOL.

Me and My Doc (starting to believe this may need to be a TV show) are progressing.... Too long a tale for now and still too sleepy... Waking up is HARD.

Husband is being an excellent house hubby but he can NOT seem to understand my Hard, Hard limit on needing to eat at 6:30.

Recovered from the kidney stones from the most part.

Someone is having a problem staying awake. I should have known, he always does this after getting his coat all untangled, clean and shiny.

Do you do the grooming yourself? I’m struggling keeping up with my cats mats. I’ve never had a medium hair cat before. She’s got some nasty mats on her chest somehow and of course the pantaloons lol!

I’ve been taking her to my groomer who has cat day but just to shave off her private area and back of legs and occasionally if there’s another mat somewhere.

I’m honestly thinking I should get her a lion cut. I swore I’d never do that but I’m wondering if it would be a good idea atm. She’s an indoor cat.

We don't groom him, yet. He is a young cat, less than 2 years old. The wifey and I have been discussing helping him because he is starting to get a mane and he can't get the front real good. His hair is also getting really thick in the hind area. I don't know how he finagles using the bathroom, but he does. We will probably get a groomer for cuts and do the combing/brushing ourselves. I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard that as long hair cats get older they really need help keeping their coats clean and untangled.

I love your Maine .... by the way. Their impressive looks are only surpassed by their personalities.

Look at this awesome guy.

Speaking as a dog owner who’s had some hairy pups, if you can find a groomer who is kind, convenient, and good at what he/she does, do it. They’re worth their weight in gold.

I can and have groomed a poodle, two Poms, and Rudy the papillon. He’s not so bad because he doesn’t need trimmed really.

My poodle loved going to the groomer, partly because she was confident and fast. When I had to trim her, it took two hours. It was stressful. The groomer got her bathed, cut, bow on her head in less than an hour.

The Poms were not as intense for cutting, but bathing them was a serious chore. It takes forever to get them wet to the skin, another forever to get all the shampoo out, and they hold about 40 gallons of water each. Three beach towels and several hours to dry. It felt like I lived to brush them. My groomer had retired by then, but I bet I’d have saved $20 on water alone if I’d have had her do them. But a clean pet is a joy forever, or something like that.

All this was a big part of my decision that I’d get dogs with low maintenance coats from here on out. I could about keep Georgia clean with baby wipes.
