For me, dripping was only a way to test new mixes. Far too messy for regular vaping. Maybe it’s just me, or maybe the RDAs I was using were too leaky, but most likely it was me, plus nowhere for the excess to drain without bf.

“Flavor” is the siren call of all things vape. Everyone says that about their fave atty whatever style it ma be.

Some are better than others, but it depends on the build and all that... I think the Gear is as good as the recurve any day.

We just had an intense hail storm, thunder and lightning and the works. I should charge my batteries in case the power goes out.

I agree Delores Rose but it's uncanny how good the flavour is in my BB...it kind of really shouldn't be this good. It's like the juice is being heated to an optimum level to keep it saturated with flavour.

I'm usually low sub-ohm in my RDA's so maybe its the 0.85 ohm coil and the lower wattage that is making the difference....whatever it is i'm enjoying it :)

Opposite for me. I’m pretty low watts on other mods, but the squonkers are unregulated, so I’m at higher watts whether I want to or not. Took a while to get used to the warmer vape but I do get a different flavor this way.

I still use my rtas daily though. In fact I have one of everything on the table with my coffee this morning, even the pod. Like a vape buffet.

Sorry, not you in particular. There are small but vocal groups around ecf that believe if you aren't doing it their way you are doing it all wrong. I think I have spent too much time on the argumentative threads for awhile and should maybe take a break. There is no.right or wrong way as long as it's safe.

No problem. But I still think I should have made my comment much clearer from the start because it could be interpreted as dissing rather than a offhand joke. I agree we should all vape whatever we want as long as it's keeping us away from the ciggies.

I do all three--squonk, drip, and RTAs. My RTAs are comparable flavor wise to my RDAs. Here recently my coil building has become exceptional (in my eyes) and I would dare to say, I don't know how it can get much better vape wise. I mean if I am missing a component in a peanut butter vape I must be eating it wrong too.

It’s all good. My blasphemy comment was kidding, as well.
And anyway, who could stay mad at a muppet? You’d have to be heartless lol.

Seriously, this is me. I put them all away at night, except one. Before I’m halfway through my first mug, I’m playing chess.

No worries:) I'm all over the place with vaping. 16W on a Hastur Mini to 100+ on dual Mohawks in an RDA. Squonkers, mechanicals, regulated 1 or 2 batteries RDAs RTAs, RDTAs even some drop in coils, I love it all.

Right now im vaping an ultra sub ohm (.94) SS, FC coil at the (heretofore unbelievable) 22 watts of power..

Crazy high wattage.. lol
I am impressed you could get that much resistance from a SS build. My 16W setup is .58 because I couldn't fit any more wraps or larger diameter. (26ga round)

On mechanical mods I have to build lower for how I vape, and you have no idea how difficult it can be for me to build a .5 or .6 ohm coil..

I think some things just become habit..

Yep I built for mechanicals for years around .2 ohms. Building for MTL setups is still strange new territory. I should get some 28ga. wire but I have a hard enough time already with 26 ga.

You'll get used to it soon enough.

There's no real need to go with 28 gauge unless you need to make especially small coils.. I don't know what that deck on your Hastur Mini is like though.. you may need it for that..

I get a bit claustrophobic working on it lol. The build that is in it is great for mechanicals. I use it on the SPQR sometimes but usually on a Swag. Never got it to fire on the Flint tho. Gave the Flint to a friend who's trying to quit smoking. The reason I wanted higher resistance was to use it on that but otherwise the resistance is fine. I don't really like working with 28ga.wire. it is too hard to see.

The one thing I like about squonking is when I use my RTAs I tend to put off rewicking until it's a necessity just because of the take it apart, get the wicking right, and some overall tinkering. With the squonker and an rda I can literally look down the 510 and see the condition of the coil and it' takes me virtually no time to pop the cap clean things up, and throw some cotton in without getting all fussy as long as there's enough to fill the juice wells. I find myself with a fresh redo every 2 to 3 days. There's no way I'd want to be doing the same with my RTAs. I guess I just get spoiled by a new wick with squonking. That said, a fresh RTA is great too. But it's easier for me to rotate through 5 rdas and keep it all clean and yummy than 5 RTAs.

afternoon all.
after failing to build my true RTA and then gear RTA with clumsy fingers and a tri tool I'm replacing my missing screwdriver set. far too much frustration.
a horizon tech falcon and nautilus bvc clearomizer (5ml version) are incoming but have stuck to limiting purchases for the most part.
really liking the SL class with one of my zeus x setups. got 2 molicel P42As to fuel it and they're working rather well.
mostly caught up and it has been good seeing what you've all been up to.

Similar here. But I have tons of Rtas and I find I run through them all till I’m on my last one. Then it’s a chore. Takes forever.
I’m trying to get in the habit of cleaning/rewicking the RDAs as I take them off the mod. Wish me luck on that.

Good luck.

There is one thing I hate about squonking. When you're ready to change the juice for another, cleaning the silicone bottles until the remnants and slight smell of the old juice out is a real pain. I've gone with a PGA soak for several hours followed by enough water to take a bath in. And with two that have proprietary bottles, it's not like I can keep a bunch of generic bottles around to trade out for while the old one is being cleaned. That to me is a big drawback as I get really OCD about mixing juices.
