Good morning everyone. Wifey flew out on business this morning, so I might have to order something today to make me feel better. I am looking at the DIY site and noticed a few options for nicotine, namely the brand.

Is PurNic nicotine a good choice? In my cart I have 250ml of 100mg nicotine, 1000ml of VG, and 500ml of PG. Are these amounts satisfactory? If too much of one thing it's okay, I plan on stocking up on supplies a little later.

Pur Nic is one of the best nic bases from what I've heard.i usually go for whatever's cheapest. Not sure how much nic/day you use but average is about 60mg. At that rate you should have nic base for 1 year. I usually buy my VG by the Gallon. I think it is about $20, and is enough to last me 1 year at 10ml/day. Did you go through NicRiv? I like their NicSelect a lot. Heartland has good nic base for cheap. I got a liter of 100mg/ml for around $40 I think. I have been using it for a while and have no complaints.

Good morning shiners! Already rewicked four attys. Woke up early and nothing else to do. I have one rda I recently got, the FLVR clone from FT and decided I'm not a fan. It looks like it has all the right features for a small 22 mm atty, and is dead quiet on the airflow, but building it is near impossible with the grub screw placement so close to the edge of the deck that clipping the legs short enough to not hit the cap is a real trial. It's also too short to use without a Delrin or Ultem cap to avoid burning the inside of your lip and I can't find one.

The flavor is excellent but it's not so excellent to put up with the drawbacks. Now I have an even better reason than all that to dislike it, I can't get the damn cap off to clean it up before stuffing it in the back of the drawer. Maybe after some more coffee I'll take a hammer to it and get the cap off the old fashioned way, whack it to death for not playing nice.

I haven't ordered yet, but yes, I am looking at the NicRiv site. I am a subohm vaper and use 6mg/12-15ml a day.

pur nic from nic River is good. I’ve got a couple liters of that in the freezer. Sounds like you’re off to a good start.

Speaking of juice, I did a spring clean if the juice cubby and piffed several to friends and family. I need to decide what I’m filling the Topside with, and have a look at the manual. It doesn’t seem complicated, but I’m sure there is a trick or two I won’t find just goofing around.

Mixing at some point this week. I’m low on my three favorites, and need to go back through the recipe book and see if there are some good older ones I’ve forgotten about. And I still have some flavors I haven’t tested.

I did test a bit of pineapple, and the RDAs are really convenient for that.

I haven't ordered yet, but yes, I am looking at the NicRiv site. I am a subohm vaper and use 6mg/12-15ml a day.

That should last the better part of a year. 1500 ml of PG/VG combined will probably last about 3 months at 15ml a day.

Taking the Topside for a test drive.

The slide battery door is smooth and secure, with and without a battery installed. Top fill, a little tricky at first to get the threads to grasp, but also very smooth, no leaks (guess I should say, so far).

Squonk bottle is Goldilocks, not too firm, not to soft. Menu is pretty basic. Dead rabbit with single coil @.37 ramps almost immediately. Nice vape. I like it better with the Topside than the Lunas. Looks pretty good, too.

Pictures for size comparison. A wee bit taller and deeper than Luna, similar in width. Luna weighs in at 205 grams, Topside at 292, with rda, battery, full bottles.

The finish looks like that rubbery stuff on the minikin v2, but it’s not. It’s just a textured coating of some sort.

Gonna take me a while to adjust to the weight and the squonk and fire button placement, but it’s not all that awkward.
So far, I really like it. I put the butter pecan ice cream in it so I could side by side with the blue Luna with the same juice. I’m down to my last 30 mls so mixing will definitely have to be today or tomorrow.

If you compare the price if 100mg to the 250mg you are essentially getting 50mg free. It also takes up less freezer space.

It will work but if your recipe calls for very low percentage of a flavor you'll just have add by drops. For example in a 10ml tester if you need 0.5% flavor that is 0.05g.
