Nice!
Hammond 1590LLB? That's a 50mmx50mmx21mm case, you making a 18350 box?

I like FDV 510's, that Ultimate flat top version looks sweet and has a very low profile. I use Varitube's mostly as I love the 30mm flat top surface. They are a little long though and the BF versions have a threaded pipe that you need to file the threads off of.

The one and only MM510BF I ever tried, leaks... I'll have to pull it apart one day and have a look.
triple 18650 in parallel is the plan. got the fire button added to the order. next up metallic purple spray paint. this won't be a quick project.

Shame....the vape on them is really amazing and you can customise your panels....:) Anyway i'm not trying to be a BB salesman....i'm sure you'll find something stabwoody soon...there, there.

I’m hoping I’ll be not finding anything of any type!!! I have soo many RBAs that I haven’t even opened yet. I’m thinking I’ll try to keep busy playing with those to keep the shinyitis in check. For a few days anyways lol!!

Pur Nic is one of the best nic bases from what I've heard.i usually go for whatever's cheapest. Not sure how much nic/day you use but average is about 60mg. At that rate you should have nic base for 1 year. I usually buy my VG by the Gallon. I think it is about $20, and is enough to last me 1 year at 10ml/day. Did you go through NicRiv? I like their NicSelect a lot. Heartland has good nic base for cheap. I got a liter of 100mg/ml for around $40 I think. I have been using it for a while and have no complaints.

Heartland really has the best prices and the nic tastes just as good as all the other ones. Ive been using it for the last 3 months. I think I paid $44 for a liter plus they have sales. No need to be paying crazy amounts of $ on “premium” unless you have some super taste buds at least in my case it’s not worth it.

I haven't ordered yet, but yes, I am looking at the NicRiv site. I am a subohm vaper and use 6mg/12-15ml a day.

Also remember that they ship by truck and they’re in California. So if you’re on the east coast like I am it’ll be sitting in the back of a truck for more than 5 days. So if it’s hot it could effect the nicotine. During the cold weather that shouldn’t matter but now with the hot weather in some areas it might be better to buy from someplace closer to home - again just my 2 cents.

Taking the Topside for a test drive.

The slide battery door is smooth and secure, with and without a battery installed. Top fill, a little tricky at first to get the threads to grasp, but also very smooth, no leaks (guess I should say, so far).

Squonk bottle is Goldilocks, not too firm, not to soft. Menu is pretty basic. Dead rabbit with single coil @.37 ramps almost immediately. Nice vape. I like it better with the Topside than the Lunas. Looks pretty good, too.

Pictures for size comparison. A wee bit taller and deeper than Luna, similar in width. Luna weighs in at 205 grams, Topside at 292, with rda, battery, full bottles.

The finish looks like that rubbery stuff on the minikin v2, but it’s not. It’s just a textured coating of some sort.

Gonna take me a while to adjust to the weight and the squonk and fire button placement, but it’s not all that awkward.
So far, I really like it. I put the butter pecan ice cream in it so I could side by side with the blue Luna with the same juice. I’m down to my last 30 mls so mixing will definitely have to be today or tomorrow.

Are you out of love with your Luna’s or just adding some more squonk to the stable?

This is my problem with buying nic, heat.
I only have money for it in the warm months before/after the ac is needed.

I do want to buy another Zeus Single but I may already have! I need to search through all my purchases. I keep ordering RBAs then putting them away without taking stock of what I already have.

I would’ve thought the price might’ve dropped on them but really not so much unless I get one from Asia.

If anyone sees a great price on the Zeus Single let me know thanks.

You need an inventory spreadsheet.

TBH, if you don't have a Venna or KRMA already I'd get one of those. The Venna would be number one and the KRMA two. And get the Delrin caps for them. The KRMA is not terrible with the SS cap but the Venna can be a little warm. Both are easy to build and maintain, with excellent flavor and solid leak resistance.
I'll second the KRMA, nice little RDA.

Heartland is pretty much all I have. I do have about 0.5 L of their "premium" I bought on sale when they first introduced it a while back. I can't tell the difference. BUT I vape flavored. I would imagine if you are an unflavored vaper the nic source will be much more relevant.

It's like do you really need to use Grey Goose for a vodka tonic? Straight vodka, sure it's nice. But once mixed it's impossible to know the difference other than sounding like you're picky standing at the bar.

Does that Infiniohm Retro PWM run on 3.7V? All the PWM boards I've seen need at least a 2S configuration to work.

So does it qualify as a shiny if it's not exactly brand spankin' new?

I was over at a buddy's house helping he and his wife with painting. I go to throw some stuff away and see what looked like a mod sitting at the top in the garbage. I pick it up and it is indeed a mod. I ask "whats with the mod in the garbage"? My buddy yells "it's a piece of junk" using some rather colorful words. His wife comes running in the kitchen and whispers "SMT don't go there". I persist and ask is it broken, "NO" he yells. His wife is "shhh'ing" me while I'm trying not to laugh.

So I ask "since you are throwing it away can I take it". His reply "YES".

It's a black eVic VTC Mini. It's pretty much brand new hardly used. Only a couple wear marks from atty's. I gave it a quick wipe down, pulled the battery out of my mod, popped it in, put my atty on it and it works fine. All while his wife is whispering to me "put it in your toolkit and don't bring it up again". Ok, fine. Plus a spare battery door to boot.
P1010006cr.jpg

I asked his wife "what the heck" and she tells me he spent a great deal of time trying to get it working in TC like his DNA mods and was super ticked it wouldn't work like the DNA. Duh, it's never going to! So he got angry and tossed it.

So I ended up with another mod for the apocalypse stash. I seem to remember when they came out but no direct experience until this one.

It was a nice little mod but don't expect any kind of TC functionality, there was a big thread about it back in the day.

Holler if you need any help.

You only have 40A to play with using that board so I'd run it in 3S with higher resistance coils.

That's ok, I can be just as happy in wattage mode. If I recall correctly isn't there some 3rd party firmware that some folks rave on about? Just a minute...

Yeah, Arctic Fox, that's it. I've never messed with it so perhaps I'll try that just for giggles. Some time ago we did buy several of the 75w Pico's just cause they are real nice for out and about beater mods. Never even tried TC with those either. I know TC rocks on the Evolve DNA boards.
